8. Feed efficiency plays a key
role in reducing
environmental impacts.
Because of advancements in
nutrition and bird breeding,
young hens now require 48
percent less food during the
rearing period than they did
in 1960, and the laying hens
have 42 percent better feed
conversion.
11. In order to produce Grade A chicken at the processing plant,
poultry producers must place healthy chicks and maintain
bird quality throughout the intensive life cycle.
Producers do this by employing top management
skills and attention to detail.
12. • Government and industry executives need a tool for:
monitor standard production, food safety traceability,
welfare standardization,
• worker performance and alarms in real time.
• Reports today are manual and late – farmer can adjust file
• No plan - connecting farming sites to internet, Farmer holds the data
13. Why was this not possible to this day?
Flocks Feeding patterns were unpredictable feed lines
run on timing and could not be traced in old farms since
no internet or high-tech systems were in the farms
Efficiency & sustainability could not be achieved with
current systems on the market
15. A Malty sensor analyzer robot with
controlling and alarming capabilities for
real time automatic management of
poultry growing, allowing 247 efficiency,
profitability, food safety and animal
welfare.

About the use of Metabolic Robot Technology as a mean of management for feed control
and its effects on performance:
.- As management tool to see bird behavior and also human error specially
during night time was very useful; showing feeding pattern that accompanies lighting
program can allow you to see whether a particular poultry house is following the desire
lighting program or not.
.- It was useful to see if feed intake decreased, since this is associated to
disease. So one can treat diseases earlier during the course of a disease. In one of the
farm we saw this, and it was diagnose as a respiratory case!

17. Flock migration and empty feeding pan’s cause
animals to miss on growing potential
18. We need to alarm the farmer
this can stop a feeding line
and 10000 birds will not eat.
19.
20. Keeping food safety using low cost tools
• Only 1 box. No WiFi, gateways, server
• Smartphone and tablet apps; OS Win10
• Communications and connectivity are free
• No Internet or 3G4G needed on farm
