Getting Started
Starter Guide:
Keys:You have 2 keys, one for the cab doors, ignition and diesel cap.
The second is for the habitation door and all external lockers.
Fuel: Open the fuel tank with the main cab key.
Please note that the motorhome takes Diesel fuel only.
The fuel filler point is located on the passenger side of the cab.
Driving: Although the motorhome isn’t much wider than an ordinary car, it is longer.
We would recommend taking corners slow and wide, and advise precaution until you are used to driving the vehicle.
Look out for low bridges, overhanging trees and use caution on narrow roads.
4
Fridge:Once you’ve started the engine we recommend that you turn on the fridge and set it to battery mode,
to start it cooling. Once on site you can switch the power to the mains 230v hook up. (See notes on Fridge Instructions)
To avoid running the leisure battery down.
Levelling:Upon arrival at your destination, it is essential to get the motorhome as level as possible. It can affect the
efficient working of the fridge, drainage of the shower trays and sinks and most importantly your comfortable night’s sleep.
Use levelling ramps to lift one end or alternatively one side. Take care when using the ramps and drive slowly. If you overshoot and drive off the
end, they could become wedged under the motorhome.
Once levelled, apply the handbrake and leave in 1st gear.
Tip: Run some water in the sink, if it flows away down the plug hole its level. If water remains in sink, it’s not level.
5
Power: To use the on board facilities you will need to connect the motorhome to the onsite 230v mains electric supply.
1. Take the orange hook up cable, unreel the cable (Important to fully unreel all the cable as it can become hot) and plug it into the mains
connection on the side of the motorhome.
2. Next, connect the other end of the cable to the socket at your pitch to use the sites power supply.
NOTE: connecting the motor home first avoids handling a live connector.
The blue flap on the connector hooks onto the mating plug. So to
release the socket, pull the flap towards you pressing the release
lever at the same time. There may also be a switch on the campsite
socket outlet that must be turned on. The electrical control panel
for the Motorhome is over the entrance door.
Be aware that on its highest setting, the room heater can draw 8 amps of current from the campsite. If used at the same time as an electric kettle
and 4 amp water heater, the combined load may exceed the limit of the campsite supply (often 16 amps), and cause it to switch off and need
resetting.
There are main electrical switches and fuses located inside the motorhome and the main RCD switch should you need to re-set the electrics after a
trip.
DON’T DRIVE AWAY WITH THE CABLE CONNECTED

6
Gas: To use the heating and hot water systems you will need to turn on the gas supply.
Simple open the gas locker on the side of the motorhome and turn the brass tap on the top of the
gas cylinder anti clockwise. (You may hear a hiss as the gas flows through) and clockwise to close.
Remember to turn the gas supply off when you aren’t using it ensure it is off also whilst travelling.
To change the gas cylinders over, close the tap and unscrew the black plastic valve. Undo the nylon
webbing strap restraining the cylinder.
When fitting a new cylinder, make sure it sits flat on the floor before tighten the straps.
.
If You Smell Gas:
• Turn off the tap on gas cylinder
• Extinguish all naked flames
• Do not switch on any electrical devices (including battery powered ones)
• Open all doors and windows
• Stay outside of the motorhome until gas has dispersed

Fresh Water Tank(holds approx. 100 litres of fresh water)
To refill open cover on the passenger side of the motorhome and place the hose pipe provided into the
tank making sure that the hose is as far down as possible.
Make sure the pressure of the water supply is not on too strong as the water will be flowing too fast &
the tank will not be filled up fully.
Check levels of tank by using the control panel before you remove the hose pipe (see ‘control panel’
section, it will indicate 0%, 33%, 66% or 100% full).
9
Grey Water Tank: Grey water is waste water from the shower, kitchen and bathroom sinks is collected
in a tank underneath the motorhome.
To empty the tank release lever which is located underneath the motorhome (below the waste water symbol), as pointed out during your
handover. Pull leaver towards you to empty and push back to close once complete. Ensuring leaver is returned fully, especially before travelling as
they may catch/come off whilst travelling over road humps.
Note: The grey waste water should be emptied over a designated waste point on site before you leave (usually a grid too drive over, ask on site for
location).
10
1. To turn the fridge on, press and hold
the on/off button until the display light
illuminates
2. To select the appropriate power
sources, press the first button on the
display. Do not use the battery symbol
with the ‘A’.
Fridge: The fridge can run on 3 different power supplies:
• 230v hook-up socket – used when connected to a sites electric supply
• 12v leisure battery – only works when the engine is running!
• The fridge can also work on Propane gas. If no 230v electrical hook up is available.
Freedhome advises that you turn your gas off whilst the vehicle is moving, left unattended and whilst you are sleeping.
Once the fridge has found the power source and is cooling, the display lights will go off and a small green light show on the on/off button.
If the fridge is unable to run from the selected power source, the symbols will continue to flash and the on/off button will show a red light.
Before removing the mains 230v power, turn on engine and switch to battery mode or turn the fridge off!
Note: Please make sure you park the vehicle on level ground, any kind of incline and the fridge will not work.

12
Micro Safety Switch: The Motorhome is fitted with a micro safety switch for the boiler this is located on the window above the
boiler flue.
If the boiler will not work check the window is shut. The window has to be shut for the sensor to allow the boiler to work.
13
Gas Oven & Grill: Turn the gas on and check the gas isolation tap is open.
(Located in cupboard under the oven)
Turn the required dial anti-clockwise and hold for a few seconds, light with ignitor in draw.
After lighting keep the dial depressed for 10-15 seconds.
Flame can then be altered as required.
Never close the glass lid after cooking as the glass will shatter, check the hob has cooled first
15-20 minutes. It must be down when travelling.
To light the oven and grill, turn the dial to the required setting and press ignition button.
Hold 10-15 seconds and release.
14
Using the Toilet & Emptying the Cassette: To use the electric flush (blue button) turn on water pump at the
main control panel.
Before use open the vent (blade) to the cassette by sliding the grey lever, after use, flush (with
blue button) and close the blade by returning the lever to its origin position.
The seat of the toilet bowl swivels to give a little more elbow room.
A red warning light will show when the toilet tank is nearly full, if illuminated EMPTY the
toilet cassette IMMEDIATEL!
15

the wheels.
Now secure the central arm to the bike frame using the plastic strap. If more than 1 bike, secure the bike furthest from the motorhome, this will
hold all of them in one place. When the bike rack is not in use fold the tray back to the vertical position and secure with the central arm and
plastic strap.
As the bike rack extends past the length of the motorhome always have some standing behind you when reversing.
Total Maximum Weight 60KG
21
Lights: To switch on: Turn the ‘on/off’ button on at the control panel
and press the light bulb button. This works like a master light switch and should
be turned off as you leave the motorhome.
All interior lights have their own power on/off switch.
Plug Sockets: The plug sockets will only work if you are connected to a
230V electrical hook-up source or a Freedhome generator.
These are located around the motorhome, above the hob, under the overhead
cupboard in the bathroom and the side of the dinette seat.

  • 3. 3 Getting Started Starter Guide: Keys:You have 2 keys, one for the cab doors, ignition and diesel cap.
  • 4. 4 Fridge:Once you’ve started the engine we recommend that you turn on the fridge and set it to battery mode, to start it cooling. Once on site you can switch the power to the mains 230v hook up. (See notes on Fridge Instructions) To avoid running the leisure battery down. Levelling:Upon arrival at your destination, it is essential to get the motorhome as level as possible. It can affect the efficient working of the fridge, drainage of the shower trays and sinks and most importantly your comfortable night’s sleep. Use levelling ramps to lift one end or alternatively one side. Take care when using the ramps and drive slowly. If you overshoot and drive off the end, they could become wedged under the motorhome. Once levelled, apply the handbrake and leave in 1st gear. Tip: Run some water in the sink, if it flows away down the plug hole its level. If water remains in sink, it’s not level.
  • 5. 5 Power: To use the on board facilities you will need to connect the motorhome to the onsite 230v mains electric supply. 1. Take the orange hook up cable, unreel the cable (Important to fully unreel all the cable as it can become hot) and plug it into the mains connection on the side of the motorhome. 2. Next, connect the other end of the cable to the socket at your pitch to use the sites power supply. NOTE: connecting the motor home first avoids handling a live connector. The blue flap on the connector hooks onto the mating plug. So to release the socket, pull the flap towards you pressing the release lever at the same time. There may also be a switch on the campsite socket outlet that must be turned on. The electrical control panel for the Motorhome is over the entrance door. Be aware that on its highest setting, the room heater can draw 8 amps of current from the campsite. If used at the same time as an electric kettle and 4 amp water heater, the combined load may exceed the limit of the campsite supply (often 16 amps), and cause it to switch off and need resetting. There are main electrical switches and fuses located inside the motorhome and the main RCD switch should you need to re-set the electrics after a trip. DON’T DRIVE AWAY WITH THE CABLE CONNECTED 1 2
  • 6. 6 Gas: To use the heating and hot water systems you will need to turn on the gas supply. Simple open the gas locker on the side of the motorhome and turn the brass tap on the top of the gas cylinder anti clockwise. (You may hear a hiss as the gas flows through) and clockwise to close. Remember to turn the gas supply off when you aren’t using it ensure it is off also whilst travelling. To change the gas cylinders over, close the tap and unscrew the black plastic valve. Undo the nylon webbing strap restraining the cylinder. When fitting a new cylinder, make sure it sits flat on the floor before tighten the straps. . If You Smell Gas: • Turn off the tap on gas cylinder • Extinguish all naked flames • Do not switch on any electrical devices (including battery powered ones) • Open all doors and windows • Stay outside of the motorhome until gas has dispersed
  • 7. 7 Control Panel: Display Screen illuminated when 230v site mains power is connected illuminated when travelling and both batteries are coupled illuminated when a fuse has blown NOTE Turn off all power before leaving the motorhome. Water Pump - use for shower, taps and toilet flush. Note, turn off when not in use. External Lights – on/off, may not be present on all models. Internal Lights – on/off, has to be on to use internal lights and to operate the TV. Temperature – Press once for internal and twice for external temperature. Water tank level – press once for fresh water level, twice for grey waste water. Leisure Battery Charge B2 – press once to display voltage, twice for remaining charge % Starter Battery Charge B1 – press once to display voltage, twice for remaining charge % On/Off – Activates the control panel on or off.
  • 8. 8 Water Tanks:The motorhome has two separate on-board water tanks, one for fresh water and the second is a waste water tank (grey water) Fresh Water Tank(holds approx. 100 litres of fresh water) To refill open cover on the passenger side of the motorhome and place the hose pipe provided into the tank making sure that the hose is as far down as possible. Make sure the pressure of the water supply is not on too strong as the water will be flowing too fast & the tank will not be filled up fully. Check levels of tank by using the control panel before you remove the hose pipe (see ‘control panel’ section, it will indicate 0%, 33%, 66% or 100% full).
  • 9. 9 Grey Water Tank: Grey water is waste water from the shower, kitchen and bathroom sinks is collected in a tank underneath the motorhome. To empty the tank release lever which is located underneath the motorhome (below the waste water symbol), as pointed out during your handover. Pull leaver towards you to empty and push back to close once complete. Ensuring leaver is returned fully, especially before travelling as they may catch/come off whilst travelling over road humps. Note: The grey waste water should be emptied over a designated waste point on site before you leave (usually a grid too drive over, ask on site for location).
  • 10. 10 1. To turn the fridge on, press and hold the on/off button until the display light illuminates 2. To select the appropriate power sources, press the first button on the display. Do not use the battery symbol with the ‘A’. Fridge: The fridge can run on 3 different power supplies: • 230v hook-up socket – used when connected to a sites electric supply • 12v leisure battery – only works when the engine is running! 3. Press the 2nd button to select the required cooling level indicator. Lights will then flash, press the square button to scroll up and down with the temperature and press OK to select the temperature. Number 3 is recommended to cool the fridge.
  • 11. 11 Heating and Hot Water: Press and hold the dial button until the display lights up. 1. To set the heating temperature, turn the dial until the motorhome symbol with thermostat flashes. Press the button, turn the dial to the required temperature and press button to confirm. 2. To set the Hot water, turn the dial until the water symbol with thermostat flashes, press the button. Turn the dial to required temperature, Eco, Hot or Boost. 3. Power selection, turn the dial to the clear gas bottle with 2 black lighting forks, press the button and turn the dial to ‘EL1’ only.
  • 12. 12 Micro Safety Switch: The Motorhome is fitted with a micro safety switch for the boiler this is located on the window above the boiler flue. If the boiler will not work check the window is shut. The window has to be shut for the sensor to allow the boiler to work.
  • 13. 13 Gas Oven & Grill: Turn the gas on and check the gas isolation tap is open. (Located in cupboard under the oven) Turn the required dial anti-clockwise and hold for a few seconds, light with ignitor in draw. After lighting keep the dial depressed for 10-15 seconds. Flame can then be altered as required. Never close the glass lid after cooking as the glass will shatter, check the hob has cooled first 15-20 minutes. It must be down when travelling. To light the oven and grill, turn the dial to the required setting and press ignition button. Hold 10-15 seconds and release.
  • 14. 14 Using the Toilet & Emptying the Cassette: To use the electric flush (blue button) turn on water pump at the main control panel. Before use open the vent (blade) to the cassette by sliding the grey lever, after use, flush (with blue button) and close the blade by returning the lever to its origin position. The seat of the toilet bowl swivels to give a little more elbow room. A red warning light will show when the toilet tank is nearly full, if illuminated EMPTY the toilet cassette IMMEDIATEL!
  • 15. 15 Emptying: Ensure the “blade” is in the closed position, separating the loo to the toilet cassette. (This is inside of bathroom, grey leaver underneath the toilet bowl). Unlock toilet cassette door, push in both button at the same time to open. Lift up the yellow lever and pull cassette out from the locker, carefully!! If it won’t slide out easily check the blade is closed, it won’t release with the blade open. Take cassette to designated waste disposal area or conventional toilet. Rotate grey arm upwards and unscrew yellow cap Pour contents down designated waste disposal area or conventional toilet. When emptying, press down the yellow button, this lets air into the tank so it pours freely without glugging. Don’t press the button until the tank is in the tipping position, so the button is above the level of the waste inside. Rinse with water until it runs clear. Replace yellow cap and swivel neck back to original position. We recommend the toilet cassette is emptied daily.
  • 16. 16 Dinette Area and Bed Conversion: To convert the dinette area into a single bed, remove all the cushions and remove the table of the upper rail. Hook the table on to the lower rail and fold in the leg to the lower position using the button on the side of the leg. Fix the additional table piece in place from the locker. Pull out the side panels from the edges of the seats to extend the length of the bed, allow the leg to fall down for additional support.
  • 17. 17 . Bed Conversion: Replace cushions to make up the bed frame, use the additional cushion from the rear storage units The Rear double bed, use ladder to access and clip on safety netting, from underneath the mattress.
  • 18. 18 Bed Conversion: For Front double bed above the cab, simple unclip the strap and gently pull the bed down (it’s on a hydraulic arm). It is in the raised position to allow easy access to the cab area. Attach the ladder, stored under the mattress. Clip on the safety net, to the ceiling hooks, close the curtains and roof blinds.
  • 19. 19 Reversing Camera: The camera controls are located on the rear view mirror. The camera view should display when the motorhome is running and reverse is selected. If the camera doesn’t automatically come on, press the On/Off button, if no signal press V1/V2 button to change channel.
  • 20. 20 Bike Rack: To open the bike rack loosen central arm (smallest one on the left) by undoing the top central red screw and unclip the plastic strap around the tray. Pull the tray down so it is in the horizontal position. Place the bikes on the tray and secure the wheels by clipping the plastic straps around the wheels. Now secure the central arm to the bike frame using the plastic strap. If more than 1 bike, secure the bike furthest from the motorhome, this will hold all of them in one place. When the bike rack is not in use fold the tray back to the vertical position and secure with the central arm and plastic strap. As the bike rack extends past the length of the motorhome always have some standing behind you when reversing. Total Maximum Weight 60KG
  • 21. 21 Lights: To switch on: Turn the ‘on/off’ button on at the control panel and press the light bulb button. This works like a master light switch and should be turned off as you leave the motorhome. All interior lights have their own power on/off switch. Plug Sockets: The plug sockets will only work if you are connected to a 230V electrical hook-up source or a Freedhome generator. These are located around the motorhome, above the hob, under the overhead cupboard in the bathroom and the side of the dinette seat. Note: The plug socket will not work when you are travelling, or unless you have the orange power cable connected.
  • 22. 22 RCD Unit:(residual current device). This is located in a cupboard underneath the oven. If you experience no 230v power please check to make sure the switch is on. i.e. switch is in the ‘up’ position. If this is tripped or knocked accidently then the 230V supply will not work. Fuses: Should a fuse blow, they are located behind the passenger seat. Towing eye: Your towing eye is located in the emergency kit box. The connection point is found on the driver’s side front bumper. Just open the cap to expose the hole into the bulk head which is where you screw the towing eye into.
  • 23. 23 Gas Isolation Taps: (located in the cupboard underneath the sink) These red taps isolate various gas functions on board the motorhome. The tap which has a picture of a pan is for your gas hob. The tap which has a picture of a tap/boiler is for your heating and hot water boiler. The tap which has a picture of a snow flake is for your gas supply to the fridge. The tap which has a picture of an oven is for your oven.
  • 24. 24 Window Operations: Open, close, fly screens & night blind. To open: Undo all latches; push window out until it clicks into the position. To close: Push window all the way out and let window fall back to closed position. This should never be forced. Fly screen: Pull the catch gently down until it clicks into the frame. Night blind: Are located in the wardrobe, they fixed to the inside of the windscreen and windows in the cab with suckers. NOTE: Please take great care when opening and closing all windows and fly screens. All windows must be closed when vehicle is in motion.
  • 25. 25 Roof vent: Turn the dial at the edge of the roof vent clockwise to open and anti-clockwise to close. To open and close the blind located on the roof vent gently pull the blind across to clip into place on the opposite side. To release gently unclip the blind. In the shower area, pull the cover down to reveal 2 handles squeeze and push firmly upwards to open the vent All Roof Vents and Shower vents must be closed when the vehicle is in motion. Ventilation: The roof vents must always be closed when travelling; otherwise they may be taken off by low branches and when travelling at speed.
