Will Hounsell chose to be the cinematographer to gain experience shooting footage after not doing so in previous projects. Sam Hayman was selected as production manager because he is the most organized of the group and well-suited for the role. Will Hounsell was again chosen as editor since his editing on their short film "Hunted" received good reviews, and Sam McCourt will handle special effects editing in After Effects due to having the most experience and interest in the software.
