Even shop lifting can b identified instantly. • At operating level-EDI provides connects vendors, stores, jit. UPC tracks inventory and space management, rfid tags. • At Customer level- CRM • At-HR and exe information systems- HRIS helps performance management system. Executive information system helps better decision making. • At automation in merchandise and scm systems- stock replenishments, purchase orders, goods receipt, etc. • At price and promotion management level- for mark down pricing, events during temporary price changes etc. • MIS and analysis- to take out exceptional reports, interactive reports
