This document summarizes a presentation on lipomas. Lipomas are slow-growing fatty tumors located between the skin and muscle layer. They are common and usually benign, though rarely liposarcomas can be cancerous. Lipomas are often in the neck, back, abdomen or arms. While watchful waiting is usually sufficient, large or painful lipomas may require surgery, though recurrence is possible. The presentation aims to empower patients with knowledge about lipomas and their management.
