5. The statue Cristo Redentor or Christ of Corcovado is a 38-meter image of Jesus
of Nazareth, not counting the pedestal of 8 meters, with open arms showing the
city of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. It is located 710 meters above sea level in the
Tijuca National Park, atop the Corcovado Mountain. It was inaugurated on
October 12, 1931, after about five years of construction.
Considered the largest Art Deco statue in the world, is recognized as one of The
New Seven Wonders of the Modern World.

7. The Jornalista Estádio Mário Filho, better known as Maracanã or its Spanish
adaptation Maracana, is a football stadium in the city of Rio de Janeiro. It is the
largest stadium in Brazil and was the largest in the world for a long time.
