HEALTH AND FITNESS
Fitness involves activity of some sort that stimulates various
systems of the body and maintains a certain condition within
the body.
Health, on the other hand, involves every system of the body
and is only achieved through a lifestyle that supports he
Health Related Fitness:
health related fitness is primary associated with disease
prevention and functional health. Participating in regular health-
related fitness helps you control your weight, prevents diseases
and illness, improve your mood, boosts energy, and promotes
better sleep.
Cardiovascular endurance is the ability of your heart, blood cells,
and lungs to work continuously for extended periods of time.
Muscular strength is the maximum amount of force a muscle can
produce in a single effort or performing exercises that use your own
body weight, free weights, or weights on a machine are excellent
ways to develop muscle strength.
Flexibility is the ability to change, to behind or to persuade and pain
free range of motion. Necessary for maintaining joint and total body
health.
Muscular strength is refers to the ability of a given muscle to exert
force, consistently and repetitively, over a period of time Long-
distance running is a sport that requires muscular endurance.
FITNESS:
Fitness is the very important regular exercise and
physical activity promotes strong muscles and bones. It
improves respiratory, cardiovascular health, and overall health.
Fitness also help you maintain a health weight, reduce your risk
for diabetes, heart diseases and reduce your risk for some
cancers.
Physical fitness is classified into two types there are:
 Health-related physical fitness and
 Performance-related physical fitness.
Explanation:
Physical fitness is a state of health and well-being and more
specifically, ability to perform aspects of sports, occupations and
daily activities. Physical fitness is generally achieved through proper
nutrition, moderate-vigorous physical exercise, and sufficient rest
along with a formal recovery plan.

 Body composition
 Flexibility
 Muscular strength
 Muscular endurance
 Cardio respiration endurance.
 Importance of Physical Fitness
Regular exercises and physical activity promotes strong
muscles and bones. it improves respiratory, cardiovascular health, and
overall health.
Physical fitness is considered a measure of the body’s ability to
function efficiently, effectively and without injury in work and leisure
activities, to pursue recreational activities and to cope with emergency
situations.

Participating in regular health- related fitness helps you control your weight, prevents diseases and illness, improve your mood, boosts energy, and promotes better sleep. Cardiovascular endurance is the ability of your heart, blood cells, and lungs to work continuously for extended periods of time. Muscular strength is the maximum amount of force a muscle can produce in a single effort or performing exercises that use your own body weight, free weights, or weights on a machine are excellent ways to develop muscle strength. Physical fitness is classified into two types there are:  Health-related physical fitness and  Performance-related physical fitness.
