This risk assessment document evaluates potential hazards from using a drone at the Croft Circuit raceway location. It identifies risks of collision with animals, audience members, derelict buildings, machinery, and issues from weather. For each risk, it notes that an experienced drone operator can minimize dangers of collision and that planning has been done to isolate the drone from other activities to reduce risks of accidents.

1. Risk assessment of equipment (Drone)
Location-CroftCircuit raceway
Animals-Possibledanger of collision with animals such as birds. However, with
use of an experienced Droneuser will mean that the risks of collision are less
likely.
Audience/ Public-As wellas with the Animals there is a possiblerisk of the
Dronecolliding with an individual. However, weare confident that with our
experienced Droneflyer there will be no danger to any of the public or
audience.
Derelict buildings/dangerous structures-Atthe shooting location there is a
small amount of building structurethat either could causeharm to the
equipment, or the equipment could causeharm too. However, thespecific
location for the shoot is kept away from the structuremeaning the risk/danger
is minimized.
Machinery-Thereis a slight risk of the Dronecolliding with machinery used at
CroftCircuit. However, we havebooked at the area for our production shoot,
and havemade surewe will be the only ones on the space. Meaning there will
be no workers getting in the way of the Drone, lowering the chance of a small
collision.
Weather-Thepotential danger of possible rain could limit our useof the Drone
equipment. However, on the currentshooting day the weather is remaining
clear. Meaning that we will be able to use it in these conditions.
