Risk Assessment for Photoshoot
Risk How to prevent/deal with the risk
Camera battery dying during the shoot Keep the camera fully charged before the
photo shoot and take a spare battery if
possible
Shots being fine on the camera but then
blurry on screen
Take multiple photographs of the same shot
to have the chance of at least one of them
being clear, experiment with the camera’s
focus and use a tripod to maximise stability
Tripping over light cables Take care whilst walking around the studio
and where possible tape wires down or
keep them out of the way of where the
models will be standing.
Photos being grainy/too dark once you get
them on the computer
Constantly check the iso and white balance
during the shoot to ensure the images will
stay clear.
Photos being badly lit Experiment with soft and hand lighting to
get the best lit and most clear result.
Running out of memory Use a clean memory card specific for this
shot and take another spare one just incase.
