WITH A PARTICLUAR INTEREST IN MINORITY-OWNED BUSINESSES IN THE BANKING SECTOR,
Rosegold’s services include investments and financial consulting services; private equity
investments; mergers & acquisitions, leverage buyouts; and venture capitalism. A sought after
financial expert and speaker, Ringgold has been featured in outlets such as Investment news and
Bay Daily News. He has appeared on NBC Bay Area “KNTV” and on Power Trading Radio. He was
also recently a guest panelist at the annual Money Show conference in Las Vegas.
“WITH THE ECONOMIC MELTDOWN OF 2008, the continuing slow recovery, and unemployment
rates as high as 25 percent in some of our communities, our minority-owned lending institutions
are struggling more than ever,” says Ringgold. “In 1994, there were 54 banks identified as black-
owned in the United States; now there are only 19. This is devastating, as these banks have
historically been the gateway to the middle class for our communities. From state and federal
regulators, to politicians, to individual investors, and to us as consumers, we must educate
ourselves about the value and the viability of these community institutions when operated under
sound business models. We all have a stake in insuring that these institutions survive.”
RINGGOLD LAUNCHED HIS CAREER IN
FINANCE in 2002 as a Senior Account
Executive with Ameriquest Mortgage, where
he negotiated, packaged and sold over 25
Million dollars’ worth of A, ALT A and
subprime mortgages for both residential
and commercial clients.
+ IN 2007 Ringgold went on to serve as the
Chief Investment Officer for Epicenter
Investment Group a global macro hedge
fund based in northern california.
+ IN 2012, he created Rosegold Investments
a financial conglomerate registered with
the CFTC & NFA as a Commodity Pool
Operator. He is responsible for all the
investment banks banking, advisory and
operational matters.
As the Next Generation Banker, my goal is to usher in a new era of Banking
led by Investment Bankers, Minority-owned banks and a strategically
diversified consumer base that will ensure the very survival of these historic
institutions and that will strengthen urban communities and add significant
value beyond them for generations to come.
Next Generation Banking is, indeed, a movement designed to foster urban
renewal, economic stability and uplifting communities through the
implementation of “Smart Banking” strategies that include consolidating
and strengthening failing banks, fostering partnerships with public and
private sector institutions, providing the consumer base with competitive
products and services, better utilizing new digital media platforms that
provide for consumer ease of access, implementing grassroots advocacy and
community outreach initiatives that lead to improved financial literacy and
collectively, generational wealth building.
