Paul establishes that he was appointed as an apostle by God to preach the gospel. He writes to Christians in Rome who are called to be saints. Understanding God's grace should create a desire for spiritual growth within the church and bringing more people to faith. The righteousness of God is revealed through faith in the gospel of Jesus Christ, which has the power to save all who believe, both Jews and Gentiles. God's righteousness is received through faith, as the scripture says "the righteous shall live by faith."
Genesis 15:6. Jehovah counted Abraham’s faith as righteousness, and tells us that it is an example for all who believe. In this lesson, we’ll learn about why faith counts as righteousness, and why faith pleases our Father.

The Captain of our salvation is interceding for His people. He is not a petitioner moving the Father's compassion, but a conqueror, who claims the trophies of His victory.
Wherefore He is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by Him, seeing He ever liveth to make intercession for them. Hebrews 7:25.
The great Captain of our salvation has conquered in our behalf, that through Him we might conquer, if we would, in our own behalf. But Christ saves none against their choice. He compels none to obedience. Jesus made the infinite sacrifice that His followers might overcome in His name and His righteousness be imputed unto them.

Predestination is one of the most widely taught doctrines in Calvinism. The biblical understanding of this passage reveals a much deeper underlying principle and a richer store of information than can be imagined.
God want's to do great things for us. A scripture based study into predestination reveals that God wants to glorify us. Allow the scriptures to open the pathway that God desires to bring us on.

This is an example of the enriched inductive Bible study method. The traditional 3 step inductive Bible study method is basically O.I.A. -- observation, interpretation, and application. The 6 step enrich version includes praying and empathizing. The acronym is U.O.I.E.A.Y. which stands for urging, observing, interpreting, empathizing, application, and yearning. Urging means urging God to make His words effective in our life starting from our studying His words seriously. Yearning means based on all the first 5 steps turn each verse into a prayer. May God fulfills upon you the words that you earnestly seek to experience. Amen.

The Reality of Hell Doesn't Diminish the Love of God.pptxRod West
When you think about the reality of hell, it's tempting to think that God’s love for humanity is diminished, but nothing could be further from the truth. In this sermon and PowerPoint outline, I share the 5 views of hell that various believers and nonbelievers hold to based on Scripture, and how only a biblical view of hell makes sense. The reality of hell only goes to support the idea of a loving God. Why? Because only a loving and gracious God demands justice for sin.
UCAIM is United Christians for Arab Israeli Ministries. This PowerPoint was used as part of a sermon at the 2017 UCAIM meeting in Charleston SC, and addresses the unity needed in the Body of Christ to win Arabs and Israelis in the Holy Land.
The Reality of Hell Doesn't Diminish the Love of GodRod West
There are many questions about God's love for humanity and the reality of hell. Most ask, "How could God even create such a place?" The existence of hell actually supports the fact God is a loving Being. Examine the five views of hell and His love becomes more apparent.
There really aren't any true atheists in existence because their arguments are normally poorly formed around emotional responses rather than good evidence against the existence of God.

There are certain questions we need to ask as Christians when we have doubts about something we are about to do or say. This PowerPoint is part 1 of a three part series which helps to answer the doubts we have in regards to our words and actions. The credit for this series belongs to Professor David LeGrand of Piedmont Baptist College in Winston-Salem NC.
The Gospel of Luke provides a wealth of evidence for the life and times of Christ, but one of the greatest evidences of the work of Christ today is in changed lives.

2024.06.01 Introducing a competency framework for languag learning materials ...Sandy Millin
http://sandymillin.wordpress.com/iateflwebinar2024
Published classroom materials form the basis of syllabuses, drive teacher professional development, and have a potentially huge influence on learners, teachers and education systems. All teachers also create their own materials, whether a few sentences on a blackboard, a highly-structured fully-realised online course, or anything in between. Despite this, the knowledge and skills needed to create effective language learning materials are rarely part of teacher training, and are mostly learnt by trial and error.
Knowledge and skills frameworks, generally called competency frameworks, for ELT teachers, trainers and managers have existed for a few years now. However, until I created one for my MA dissertation, there wasn’t one drawing together what we need to know and do to be able to effectively produce language learning materials.
This webinar will introduce you to my framework, highlighting the key competencies I identified from my research. It will also show how anybody involved in language teaching (any language, not just English!), teacher training, managing schools or developing language learning materials can benefit from using the framework.

Embracing GenAI - A Strategic ImperativePeter Windle
Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies such as Generative AI, Image Generators and Large Language Models have had a dramatic impact on teaching, learning and assessment over the past 18 months. The most immediate threat AI posed was to Academic Integrity with Higher Education Institutes (HEIs) focusing their efforts on combating the use of GenAI in assessment. Guidelines were developed for staff and students, policies put in place too. Innovative educators have forged paths in the use of Generative AI for teaching, learning and assessments leading to pockets of transformation springing up across HEIs, often with little or no top-down guidance, support or direction.
This Gasta posits a strategic approach to integrating AI into HEIs to prepare staff, students and the curriculum for an evolving world and workplace. We will highlight the advantages of working with these technologies beyond the realm of teaching, learning and assessment by considering prompt engineering skills, industry impact, curriculum changes, and the need for staff upskilling. In contrast, not engaging strategically with Generative AI poses risks, including falling behind peers, missed opportunities and failing to ensure our graduates remain employable. The rapid evolution of AI technologies necessitates a proactive and strategic approach if we are to remain relevant.
