The History Of Riga
 Riga is one from the oldest capitals cities in Europe.
1201 is the year of Riga's foundation. And from the
moment it has been found it became the center of
culture and industry. Moreover, in the Riga was
located very important east part port.
 Now In Latvia live 2,013 million (2013)

Old Riga
Old Riga is the historical part in the heart
of the city. On this small area are located
the main sightseeing’s. And all the houses
in Old Riga are historically valuable.

Verman’s Park
 Verman’s park is the one of the most beautiful parks
in Riga. Also it is the oldest public park. It is located in
the center of Riga and is surrounded by four streets:
Kr. Barona, Elithabetes, Terbatas and Merkela.
Television Tower
 Height of this tower is 368 metros/It is in the top of the
most highest television towers in the world and took third
place in Europe. The viewpoint is on the height of 97
metros from which the all Riga's center could be seen.
St. Peter's
Church
 St. Peter’s Church is one of
the oldest and very valuable
building of middle age
architecture in Baltic
countries. It is in located in
Old Riga.
Riga Cathedral
 Riga Cathedral is located in the center of Old Riga. Riga
Dome Cathedral was the central cathedral in the Baltics till
1561. Nowadays, Riga Dome Cathedral Provide place for
different concerts and events.
Powder Tower
 Powder tower is the one protective which is still stands in
our times. It was build approximately in 1300. And
presumably was four coal and only then become round as
now.
