2. Urban Peak, a nonprofit group based in Colorado
Springs and Denver, has assisted Colorado youth
affected by homelessness since 1988. Its array of
resources include housing support, education
programs, and employment assistance.
Moreover, the organization regularly conducts
community outreach activities to raise awareness
of issues affecting homeless youth and to garner
support for their cause.
On Sunday, June 28, 2015, Urban Peak will
partner with Denver motorcycle dealer Erico
Motorsports and the Scarlet Headers, a local all-
female motorcycle club, for Ride the Peak 2015.
3. The afternoon charity ride will kick off with a
breakfast at Urban Peak’s Denver shelter, where
Scarlet Headers volunteers will serve shelter
clients a meal courtesy of Erico Motorsports.
Following the breakfast and cleanup, riders will
meet at 11:30 in the shelter parking lot to begin
their 20-mile journey from Denver to Lookout
Mountain.
Erico Motorsports encourages all riders to offer a
suggested donation of $20, with all proceeds
benefiting the supportive programs of Urban
Peak. For their donations, all riders will receive a
commemorative Ride the Peak 2015 patch.
