CITY MEDIA is an independent foundation based in Lausanne (Switzerland). Its aim is to facilitate information access on towns, cities and regions of the world. It promotes and offers local representatives tools for expanding their official communication and getting involved in global development by simplifying information access and knowledge sharing. Their latest project is called [City].vi, a network of 68,000 video sites, each specific to a city.

Pride in London holds three Open Meetings each year to report back to the community and to provide members of the community the opportunity to ask questions and find out more about our plans for Pride.
This open meeting revealed results from 2016's event and an update on plans for 2017 and the chance to ask questions. Updated included about the Parade, stages, Pride Festival, UK Black Pride and more.
The discussion was moderated by the chair of the independent Community Advisory Board.

How can Smart Cities develop as an ecosystem where businesses, big and small, citizens and public institutions can play and use at the same level? This presentation is focusing on the creation of a urban ecosystem that acts as a fair and ethical market place for businesses and to make better use of the city public infrastructure by citizens and public institutions.
This concept was developed together with Paul Houghton and Jane Vita.
This presentation looked at what being local means in a mobile context. As well as setting the scene it looks at two specifica projects we've been working on at Talk About Local - a prototype AR app for local publishers (codenamed Apollo) and the ongoing development of the n0tice suite of tools which includes a whitelabel VIP service for publishers.
An introduction to the work of Talk About Local and a look at some of the free and easy to use tools which can provide solutions for common challenges facing local authorities in providing and using data in user friendly ways.
