Rhinoliths are calcareous masses found in the nose that form through the deposition of calcium, magnesium, or phosphate around a nidus. They usually form unilaterally and can cause blockage, pain, smell disturbances, and are treated by surgical removal. This information is based on the personal experience of an ENT surgeon over 20 years at a hospital in Indore, India.
