2. 1. What is the primary idea of the content in the articles?
Both articles are about GPS. The first one is explaining how to use Map-Based GPS Car Navigation System.
It is telling us how to operate Car Navigation System step by step. The second one is showing how the Car
Navigation Systems work. in this article, we can see what the car navigation system consist of, the structure
of the system, and how the program works in it to get its location and make a plan for a trip.
2. Do you think the individual sections and headings in the document (articles) clearly represent the idea that
was communicated. Explain the reasons behind your comments.
I think both articles are clearly represent the idea above. Every section of the first article is about how to
manipulate a car navigation system in a car. It explains very beginning to the end. The second article has
four sections and all of those are about Car navigation system and GPS, which is the main idea of the article.
Therefore, I think that the both articles are clearly represent the main idea of them.
3. What details are included in the articles?
In the first article, we can see how to manipulate car navigation system to get the route to a specific location
with address or with the point on the internet. In both case it tells us which button to press. The second
article tells us the detail of GPS satellites, and program to calculate location and get route for a trip. We
could know the structure of GPS satellites and what the system doing to get those.
4. Was there anything that was confusing? If so, what is it?
The first article is little bit unclear to me. It does not tells us which car navigation system it explains. Every
car navigation system is different from each other. It is true that most of their manipulations are similar, but
they are not exactly the same. The number of button might be different, the structure could be different either,
and so on. Therefore, i think I have to tell us which car navigation system does it explains.

3. 5. What is good about the writing? Why is it good?
In the second article, we can see the four sections, and they are about different element of GPS car navigation
system. I think it is good. With this structure, I can reach the thing I missed or the thing I want to know faster. I
do not need to read every single lines of the article. The Heading also helps me to find the section I am looking
for. For those reasons, I think it is good.
6. Are there any errors that need to be corrected?
It is same as the answer of question 4, but I think the first article have to tell which car navigation system does it
show.
I could not find any other errors on them.
7. What specific suggestions for improving the articles can you make?
Again, the first article have to tell which car navigation system does is explain.
The second article might be more interesting thing to read if it had more detailed information or links to explain
technical terms in it. For me, technical knowledge is interesting thing to know, and it is same for people who like
science or student who is learning science, mathematics, engineering and so. This include technical terms, so I
suggest this to it.
8. Identify three basic differences between how your group would author a similar document and how this
author authored it (as you see it in the link).
For the first article, which is about how to manipulate car navigation system, we will show which car navigation
system we explain. We also will show some screen shot or picture to show what to do. It might help to
understand.
For the second article, which is about the structure of GPS system, we might include more detailed information
and technical terms to make it scientifically interesting thing. It will help to attract interest of people who want to
know more.
