How to say dates and past expressions

4. To say our birth date, we write the following:
I WAS BORN ON APRIL 1ST, 1979
To talk about specific years, we name them with IN:
I FINISHED STUDYING IN 2004
To pronounce years before 2000, we split them into two numbers:
1979: nineteen seventy-nine
1998: nineteen ninety-eight
Since 2000 forward, we can say the years in two ways:
2000: Two thousand (only one form)
2001: Two thousand and one / twenty o (ou) one
2012: Two thousand and twelve / Twenty twelve
2021: Two thousand and twenty-one / Twenty twenty-one

5. Past time expressions:
Estas expresiones se escriben AL FINAL de una
oración.
• Yesterday: Ayer
• Last night: Anoche
• Last week: La semana pasada
• Last month: El mes pasado
• Last year: El año pasado
• Two months ago: Dos meses atras
• A year ago: Un año atras
• Three years ago: Tres años atras
