The main concern of the RWO is with registering new members. When a prospective member wants to join, Mr. Jones, Ms. Jenkins or Ms. Collins speaks on the phone or in person with that person to establish rapport. Then, the person is mailed pre-numbered envelops for use in regular contributions to the RWO. Most contributions are made to the RWO using these envelops, although about 15% of each collection comes from cash and checks from non-member contributors. Additionally, RWO has a capital improvement campaign to purchase a building (and stop leasing) for the organization. Contributions to this fund are collected at fund-raising campaigns held once per month. The cost of acquiring the property, paving it, and making it ready for use is $500,000. The Urban Planning Council is a governmental land use planning authority with responsibility for regulation and planning of property development in a Middle Eastern country. The organization carries out reviews of private sector land use master plans, providing input and advice as well as issuing permits. The organization also prepares master plans in-house in response to market demands for social housing. Finally, the Urban Planning Council is responsible for the creation, evolution, dissemination and implementation of various planning regulations, guide manuals and design standards to be adhered to by all entities in the sector.

This applies to utility service companies, transport authorities, county-level municipal organizations and sector-specific regulatory entities. In the past 10 years, such changes have happened at least once per year at some level.
Secondly, the government has also been known to declare expatriate recruitment bans from time to time, in addition to ordering the removal of a percentage of existing expatriate employees. The emerging approaches to management in public organizations stems from the challenges created by the market dynamics, including globalization and advances in technology. Strategic planning for success has therefore assumed greater importance for managers of public institutions.
The key elements of the strategic planning process depends to a large extend on the model one adopts (whether conventional, issues-based, alignment, inspirational etc.). The policy process involves constant deliberations, bargaining and negotiations by politicians and other interest groups (Moore, 1995; Van Horn, et al., 2001). Therefore critical elements in strategic planning for public organizations include stakeholders, resource alignment and more importantly how to deliver sustainable outcomes.
Strategic planning is a set of managerial decisions that determine the long term survival of an institution according to Whaelen and Hunger (2005). It is critical to constantly monitor and elevate the external opportunities and threats taking into consideration the internal strengths and weaknesses.
In this regard, stakeholder analysis is critical to the success of strategic planning for success because it provides the opportunity for the institution to respond adequately to their needs and allow for institutional relevance and achievement of strategic objectives. Resource alignment is also important as it allows for the effective deployment of resources to meet objectives.
The strategic planning for Parliament of Ghana which I coordinate, takes into consideration all emerging issues into consideration in developing strategic initiatives particularly the issue stakeholder consultation because as an institution representing the people, the institutional relevance is determined by the ability to respond to the needs of citizens.

A proposal was written for Lightsville Public Schools based on four focus areas developing specific activities based on each need, and creating measurable tools to evaluate whether or not students and parents are succeeding (Colorado Grants, 2015). Although most proposals have no more than three goals, this proposal had four. Each of the four goals relate directly to the four focus areas described above (Colorado Grants, 2015). The goals were well written and specific and the objectives coincided. The objectives were followed by the SMART format. There is no question as to what was to be accomplished.
Goal 1: Students who participate in the programs at the learning center will improve their academic achievement. Goal 1 had two objectives and they both coincided with the goal.
The Read to Succeed Project’s goal, in my opinion told what the goal was, but it did not grab my attention to where I wanted to read further. The goal states: “The goal of the Read to Succeed! Project is to enable at risk students and students with learning and reading disabilities to improve their reading skills to the point where they can succeed in school and develop the reading skills that will prepare them for high school and post-secondary education (Kurzweil Educational Systems , 2002).”
I would have worded the goal to say: The goal of the Read to Succeed! Project is to enable at risk students and students with learning and reading disabilities to advance their reading skills to the point where they are confident that they can succeed in school and their reading skills are developed to the point that they are confidently prepared for high school and post-secondary education.

As a result of having a different perspective than Thomas Hobbes and the state of nature, John Locke also views the need for enacting a social contract differently. Locke did not see humans as warring in a state of nature as Hobbes had. Instead, Locke's state of nature could be explained as a perfect place where people had the freedom to choose their own paths in life so long as it did not infringe upon others.
Locke viewed people as being kind toward one another as a result of the Law of Nature, which was a result of virtues from God. Under the Law of Nature, people were equal and would be treated as such because of their morals stemming from their belief in God. By the same token, Locke acknowledged that having liberty in the state of nature was not synonymous with a "license" to do what we pleased, as, "no one ought to harm another in his life, health, liberty, or possessions…"(Locke, section 6). Only when a man has done something wrong can another man have power over him in the state of nature and this power cannot be used excessively, and only using calm reason and conscience (Locke, section 8)
Locke also understood the need for private property for men. Private property was the combining of a person using his (her) own labor along with the natural resources in nature to produce something. When a person used their abilities to produce something, they should have the right to that final product. However, a person could not claim more than what should be considered their own "fair share." In other words, owning excessive private property would now breach the Law of Nature. Because of the desire for private property and the want to maintain it, men would give up the freedom of the state of nature, relying upon a government for protection.
To me, Locke's state of nature is more in line with my own thinking. People are not naturally evil and warring, but instead more virtuous, whether stemming from beliefs in God, their own upbringing, or just naturally moral. As a result, the only need for people to enter into a social contract is to settle disputes and not for self preservation as Hobbes suggested.
Although I accept (interpret?) the notions of a state of nature from both Locke and Hobbes as theoretical, Locke's description seems closer to what I understand as reality. His description of the importance of property is not only unique from Hobbes', but also makes sense. People "like their things" and do not want them taken away. This seems very natural in society today. Locke's views were instrumental not only in our "re-establishment" of the state of nature when the American colonists declared their independence, but was also instrumental in the writing of the Bill of Rights.

In the past 10 years, such changes have happened at least once per year at some level.
Secondly, the government has also been known to declare expatriate recruitment bans from time to time, in addition to ordering the removal of a percentage of existing expatriate employees. During such bans, which can last for a year or two, no government entity is allowed to permanently employ any foreign workers or professionals. This is done in an effort to ensure the highest possible levels of citizen employment. In this context, the term citizen refers to a national of the country. The emerging approaches to management in public organizations stems from the challenges created by the market dynamics, including globalization and advances in technology. Strategic planning for success has therefore assumed greater importance for managers of public institutions.
The key elements of the strategic planning process depends to a large extend on the model one adopts (whether conventional, issues-based, alignment, inspirational etc.). The policy process involves constant deliberations, bargaining and negotiations by politicians and other interest groups (Moore, 1995; Van Horn, et al., 2001). Therefore critical elements in strategic planning for public organizations include stakeholders, resource alignment and more importantly how to deliver sustainable outcomes.
Strategic planning is a set of managerial decisions that determine the long term survival of an institution according to Whaelen and Hunger (2005). It is critical to constantly monitor and elevate the external opportunities and threats taking into consideration the internal strengths and weaknesses.
In this regard, stakeholder analysis is critical to the success of strategic planning for success because it provides the opportunity for the institution to respond adequately to their needs and allow for institutional relevance and achievement of strategic objectives. Resource alignment is also important as it allows for the effective deployment of resources to meet objectives.
The strategic planning for Parliament of Ghana which I coordinate, takes into consideration all emerging issues into consideration in developing strategic initiatives particularly the issue stakeholder consultation because as an institution representing the people, the institutional relevance is determined by the ability to respond to the needs of citizens.

A proposal was written for Lightsville Public Schools based on four focus areas developing specific activities based on each need, and creating measurable tools to evaluate whether or not students and parents are succeeding (Colorado Grants, 2015). Although most proposals have no more than three goals, this proposal had four. Each of the four goals relate directly to the four focus areas described above (Colorado Grants, 2015). The goals were well written and specific and the objectives coincided. The objectives were followed by the SMART format. There is no question as to what was to be accomplished.
Goal 1: Students who participate in the programs at the learning center will improve their academic achievement. Goal 1 had two objectives and they both coincided with the goal.
The Read to Succeed Project’s goal, in my opinion told what the goal was, but it did not grab my attention to where I wanted to read further. The goal states: “The goal of the Read to Succeed! Project is to enable at risk students and students with learning and reading disabilities to improve their reading skills to the point where they can succeed in school and develop the reading skills that will prepare them for high school and post-secondary education (Kurzweil Educational Systems , 2002).”
I would have worded the goal to say: The goal of the Read to Succeed! As a result of having a different perspective than Thomas Hobbes and the state of nature, John Locke also views the need for enacting a social contract differently. Locke did not see humans as warring in a state of nature as Hobbes had. Instead, Locke's state of nature could be explained as a perfect place where people had the freedom to choose their own paths in life so long as it did not infringe upon others.
Locke viewed people as being kind toward one another as a result of the Law of Nature, which was a result of virtues from God. Under the Law of Nature, people were equal and would be treated as such because of their morals stemming from their belief in God. By the same token, Locke acknowledged that having liberty in the state of nature was not synonymous with a "license" to do what we pleased, as, "no one ought to harm another in his life, health, liberty, or possessions…"(Locke, section 6). Only when a man has done something wrong can another man have power over him in the state of nature and this power cannot be used excessively, and only using calm reason and conscience (Locke, section 8)
Locke also understood the need for private property for men. Private property was the combining of a person using his (her) own labor along with the natural resources in nature to produce something. When a person used their abilities to produce something, they should have the right to that final product. However, a person could not claim more than what should be considered their own "fair share." In other words, owning excessive private property would now breach the Law of Nature. Because of the desire for private property and the want to maintain it, men would give up the freedom of the state of nature, relying upon a government for protection.
To me, Locke's state of nature is more in line with my own thinking. People are not naturally evil and warring, but instead more virtuous, whether stemming from beliefs in God, their own upbringing, or just naturally moral. As a result, the only need for people to enter into a social contract is to settle disputes and not for self preservation as Hobbes suggested.
Although I accept (interpret?) the notions of a state of nature from both Locke and Hobbes as theoretical, Locke's description seems closer to what I understand as reality. His description of the importance of property is not only unique from Hobbes', but also makes sense. People "like their things" and do not want them taken away. This seems very natural in society today. Locke's views were instrumental not only in our "re-establishment" of the state of nature when the American colonists declared their independence, but was also instrumental in the writing of the Bill of Rights.

LRE environment is when students with disabilities that should be educated to the maximum extent appropriate with peers without disabilities. Inclusion means all individuals regardless of ability should be able to participate in the same environment with appropriate support, no one is excluded.

The relative and dynamic properties of LRE makes sure students are placed appropriately and teachers keep in mind that placements for students can change according to the system evaluations. The collaborative dimension of implementing LRE for students in special education makes sure a team of members come together to discuss what is best for the student to successfully learn.
In addition, discuss any personal experiences you may have had as part of an IEP team for a student where LRE was determined, or any insights you might have on ensuring LRE and FAPE for all student. I have not attended an IEP meeting but know that team comes together to discuss goals and strategies to ensure the child is successful in a regular classroom setting.

Capital Punishment has long been a controversial topic and has been used as punishment for crimes of murder and can be applies to crimes of treason, and espionage.
In the United States, “31 states, the federal government and the military still have the death penalty
” (States With and Without the Death Penalty, 2015). Violent crime that take the life of people is considered the worst crime in America.
For committing that crime, in many cases the defendant will get the death penalty. Mass murder defendant “Jessie Dotson” of Memphis Tennessee
“killed several relatives including his brother and toddler nephews
” (Grinberg, 2010).
People like Dotson must receive the death penalty as it is important to send a message to society that this type behavior will not be tolerated and justice will prevail.
Also, proponents of the death penalty believe it deters crime, cost less than life imprisonment, and that the defendant will commit murder again in prison given the opportunity.

Opponents of capital punishment believe it has no deterrent effect on crime, the state should not have the powder to take a human life as it cannot create life, and that the death penalty is discriminatory and unjust. In many executions, a lethal injection of “

Dear Dr. Kornbluth and Mr. Gorenberg,
The US House of Representatives is deeply concerned by ongoing and pervasive acts of antisemitic
harassment and intimidation at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). Failing to act decisively to ensure a safe learning environment for all students would be a grave dereliction of your responsibilities as President of MIT and Chair of the MIT Corporation.
This Congress will not stand idly by and allow an environment hostile to Jewish students to persist. The House believes that your institution is in violation of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act, and the inability or
unwillingness to rectify this violation through action requires accountability.
Postsecondary education is a unique opportunity for students to learn and have their ideas and beliefs challenged. However, universities receiving hundreds of millions of federal funds annually have denied
students that opportunity and have been hijacked to become venues for the promotion of terrorism, antisemitic harassment and intimidation, unlawful encampments, and in some cases, assaults and riots.
The House of Representatives will not countenance the use of federal funds to indoctrinate students into hateful, antisemitic, anti-American supporters of terrorism. Investigations into campus antisemitism by the Committee on Education and the Workforce and the Committee on Ways and Means have been expanded into a Congress-wide probe across all relevant jurisdictions to address this national crisis. The undersigned Committees will conduct oversight into the use of federal funds at MIT and its learning environment under authorities granted to each Committee.
• The Committee on Education and the Workforce has been investigating your institution since December 7, 2023. The Committee has broad jurisdiction over postsecondary education, including its compliance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act, campus safety concerns over disruptions to the learning environment, and the awarding of federal student aid under the Higher Education Act.
• The Committee on Oversight and Accountability is investigating the sources of funding and other support flowing to groups espousing pro-Hamas propaganda and engaged in antisemitic harassment and intimidation of students. The Committee on Oversight and Accountability is the principal oversight committee of the US House of Representatives and has broad authority to investigate “any matter” at “any time” under House Rule X.
