For their first news story, the author did a voiceover story about a girl who was hit by a car. They researched the incident and recorded a script sharing what happened and how the girl was doing. Their second story was an interview with a friend pretending to be a show organizer about the Cheshire show, promoting it to college students. For their final story, the author did vox pops interviewing various students about how university fees have affected their decision to attend, including those who could and couldn't afford it. Overall, the author felt interviewing people worked well for their target audience but would improve sound quality and reduce background noise in future interviews.

1. For my first story I did a voicer story about a girl who was hit by a car which was in the news at the time for this
story there is not interview with anyone else in it just me talking about what happened, for this one all I had to do was
research what happened write a script and then recoded what I had found and out it on to the blog, this story suited my
target audience because the story was about a teenager and the whole news programme is related to teenagers and
young adult, the purpose of this news story is informative as it letting people know what has happened to the girl
when she was hit and how she is doing now, the quality of this is okay, over all I liked this news story as it was the
easiest to find information and because I didn’t have to interview anyone I didn’t have to do as much when editing it as
it was just my voice.
For my second story I did a voicer story which was about Cheshire show for this I interview my friend Jo who
pretended to be one of the organisers for the show for this I found out a lot about the show and then asked Jo some
questions about the show for her to elaborate on such as how the long the show has been going for etc. I then record
the parts which I would have been saying such and put the whole interview together and put it on the blog, this story
suits my target audience of college student because it is an educational place and they can learn lots of different things
by going to Cheshire show, this news story was promotional as in this I was asking the organiser what happens at the
show and when it is, which is a way of promoting it to students, I think my presentation could have been batter so that
I would sound more professional, when I put the story together I choose to only use parts of the interview that would
sound promotional to college students such as there being student discount.
For my final story I did vox pops which are when you interview several people and put them together this story what
about uni fees so I found out all the information I needed I then when out and asked various students wherever the cost
of going to uni had affected their choice to go I then recoded what I some of my research and added the vox pops to
that and put the interview together and put it on my blog, this suites my target audience because allies directly to
college students how are looking to go to uni and are unable to afford the cost, the style of this news story an
invesagative as I was finding out different students thoughts on the price, when I was editing this I choose to use some
parts where people were going and the price didn’t bother them and some when people said they weren’t going cause
of the price
Over all I thought that the parts that I got when I interviewed people was good as it got what I needed to and it fits my
target audience well due to the content of the news stories, if I was to re make this then I would make sure the sound
levels are the same when I edit and I would make sure that I spoke clearly when taking about my news story so that I
sound more professional and I would make sure that all of the parts where I interviewed people had less talking and
noise in the background.
