1. The Revelstoke Aquaducks would like to invite you to our annual summer
swim meet. We are pleased to offer our large indoor, air-conditioned multi-
purpose room to keep cool between your races as well as FREE camping
on-site.
Revelstoke Aquaducks Swim Club
2010 Invitational Meet
July 10 and 11, 2010
Place: Revelstoke Aquatic Centre, 600 Campbell Ave.
Revelstoke Aquatic Centre is an indoor 25 meter pool with 6 lanes.
Spectator seating is limited. Complimentary (i.e. FREE) camping is
allowed at Centennial Fields, between the road and the river, for tents and
for self-contained units in the ball field’s parking lot. This is located
directly west and about a block from the pool. The 6th St. parking lot
adjacent to the pool may be available for self-contained units. A
concession will be available for early risers.
Times: Warm-ups: 7:00a.m. each day.
Start times: 8:00a.m. each day
Officials meeting: 7:30a.m. each day
Scratches: 8:00 p.m. Friday evening at the pool and Saturday following
the finals for the Sunday events.
Entries: Deadline Tuesday July 6th 2010 at 8:00 pm.

Individual Events: $5.00 per event
Relays: $10.00 per event
A $1.00 TIF fee, per swimmer, will be levied. (Timing Improvement Fee).
This fee will be used to help continue upkeep on our Okanagan timing equipment.

2. Turtle Races:
Turtle 25m events will be held on Saturday after the I.M. events and on
Sunday after the Backstroke events. Saturday will be Freestyle and Sunday
will be Backstroke. Turtles must be registered with their home club and
they must be registered for the meet using Hy-tek. Ribbons will be
presented to all.
Rules: All BCSSA rules apply or as the Meet Manager deems fit and fair.
Hytek Meet Manager software will be used to ‘crash’ times. All individual events, except
Div 7 and Div 8,will be heats and finals. Relays plus Div 7 and Div.8 will be timed finals.
Div. 7 and 8 will swim in the morning and Relays at the end of the day. Swimmers may
enter any 4 individual events plus relays. Swimmers wishing to swim more than four
individual events may swim as “exhibition” for the additional events and will be seeded
in outside lanes for those “exhibition” events. Exhibition swimmers will swim in the
heats only and cannot advance to the finals or consolation finals. For swimmers in
Division 1-4 there will be Consolation Finals, if there are more than 8 swimmers in the
heats. “O” swimmers may swim in the finals or consolations of their event provided a
lane is available. “O” swimmers will not displace an “S” swimmer in either a final or
consolation
Awards: Ribbons will be awarded to top six swimmers in Division 5-8 and all
relays. In Division 1-4, ribbons will be awarded to top 12 swimmers. Aggregate medals
will be awarded for girls and boys in each division. Team awards will be Top Girls team,
Top Boys team and Top Overall Team.
Officials As for all swim meets, we rely on the active volunteerism of all parents.
Please do your part! An officials meeting will be held during warm-ups each morning,
and new officials are more than welcome to attend. Clubs will, of course, also be
volunteering their time as timers, lane judges, and other areas.
