Editor's Notes
I chose to focus on a business that my husband and I are currently trying build at this present moment. My husband is a very religious man and has dreams of making t-shirts that are Christian based. Above, you can see our protype. We originally have only 7 made but now are in the works of having more made as well as three other front designs.
My husband and I both know folks that attend church. I asked a few co-workers what they thought about Christian based t-shirts and if they knew where I could go and purchase a few. I could not get an answer as to where to go other than to Christian bookstores such as Cokesbury and they are quite expensive. My husband has always said that he believed that it would be a good business to start but we never had the funds to get a jump start. Several churches congregations are looking for pictures that describe their feelings but would also like to reference their churches name on the back of t-shirts. We offer this type of customizing.

While this is my main target market, word of mouth and members seeing the types of t-shirts Revelations sells will bring in new customers.
Reflections only provides screen printing at this moment for customizations. We do not own vector imaging software either. A vector image is a type of picture file used when making pictures for the front and back of t-shirts. The software for this is very expensive and some companies will ask that you handle this before your t-shirts can be made. If all companies invested in the technology, they could charge extra for making the t-shirt if a customer has an image of their own.
Since this is a family business at this current moment, only family members are involved in the processes to enable this business to run.
We are not looking to really make a living off of the t-shirt business but if it happens, then we will be truly grateful. The idea of a t-shirt business focusing on Christian faith was something we thought would be helpful to the home church of our family. They struggle financially and other than going out and selling candy or having fish fries, we wanted to do something that has meaning and would supply a product that would be around for years to come. Every t-shirt we sell, a portion, depending on the price of each t-shirt will be donated to the church of the purchaser while a percentage will also go to our home church.
