This document summarizes educational activities carried out by the "Squillers" group as part of an Erasmus+ project called "Children's mission. Europe without borders." The group received a letter from partners on Reunion Island with pictures and an introduction. They responded with their own letter and postcard. Parents participated by bringing exotic fruits and creating a photo exhibition of Reunion Island. A teacher from Reunion Island later visited and brought exotic fruits for the children to taste, as well as educational materials about Reunion Island. The children enjoyed learning about and experiencing aspects of the culture of Reunion Island.

2. 2016-10-16 Children from the “Squirrels” group received a
letter from the partners of Reunion island with pictures and a
short country introduction.

3. We answered with a thank you letter which
included children’s greetings and a postcard
„This is our Lithuania“. A trip to the post
office has given children joyful emotions,
because they could throw the letter in the
mail box by themselves.

4. In the project were also actively involved parents of the „Squillers“
group: they participated in different activities, brought exotic fruits
for mosaic making and got familiar with a beautiful nature of
Reunion island while preparing a photo exhibition „Traveling
around Reunion island“.

5. On 31st of January to the
“Squillers“ group came a guest
from Reunion island – teacher
Clemludovic. He brought
children different exotic fruits,
which they carefully analyzed
and tasted.

6. Teacher Clemdudovic also gifted
children a chameleon Furcy and
some educational activities: a
coloring book and a model of
traditional house of Reunion
island.

7. Children were very interested in doing these tasks: to colour
the book from Reunion island.

9. It is fun to play, create, sing, dance and cook together with
Furcy.
