album. Typically they land
around 30 minutes long.
3. LP
(Me. Iam, Mariah Carey)
LP means “Long Play”. These are
full length projects that are longer
than EPs. They can have up to 20+
songs
6. Exclusives
There were no record store exclusives. I believe that the store was not being properly managed.
There was no one available to speak with and the lady downstairs gave me the owners number
and didn’t know anything about the store. She said that they rent out the space. Below is an
example I found online.
7. Swag
The store didn’t provide any swag but here is an online example

9. Reflection
I don’t think I would use this store for a local artist’s album release. As you see here it
would hard to
fi
nd because there was nothing but a small sign outside and on the
stairs to indicate where the store was. There was just way to much traf
fi
c between the
entrance of the building and the store. It was more like a storage space. When I got
there I no one was in the record shop. You had to pay through the cashier downstairs
and she gave me the number of the owner to ask him questions. I think there are most
de
fi
nitely better options in the Charlotte area for an artists to consign their work and
host events.
