PERSONAL PROFILE: WHAT CHARACTERIZES ME?
2. Period F Principal Industrial Engineer NXP Nijmegen
2010-03/2014 1) Introduction barcode readers on the shopfloor. This aid enables easier communication
between the operators and the manufacturing execution system (MES). Beside this, barcode
readers positively influence rework and scrap reduction (less mistakes).
2) Introduction of a scheduler on the shopfloor, enabling the operator to choose the right lot to
be processed, in order to get good clip figures.
3) Improving the line yield (in the function as Line yield coordinator) by analysing scrap data
and by taking action (mainly awareness).
4) Project leader Long Term Storage 4 inch fab. During this project a new packing method was
developed and introduced. This new packaging protects the 4 inch wafers (bridging stock &
EOL stock) against moisture for more than 8 years.
5) Simplification of one logistic incoming goods flow (reduction of 100 k cost)
6) Daily monitoring of the production progress of the 4 and 6 inch fab.
7) Rework analysis for a black belt project of one of my colleagues.
Period E Senior production control manager/engineer NXP Nijmegen
2004-2010 1) Daily production (including capacity modelling) control during closing phase 5 inch fab.
2) Project leader long-term storage project 5 inch fab.
3) ½ year production control combined with industrial engineering activities at an external fab.
in China (CSWC). In this period I, together with a few colleagues, realized an enormous ramp up
of production volume (NXP product). We also gained a better knowledge/understanding of PC
and IE in that fab.
4) Project member SAP, whereby SAP was implemented in the 4 and 6 inch fab’s.
5) Integration of shop floor control systems 4 and 6 inch.
6) Production control manager 4 inch fab, and member of the management group. In this roll
I was responsible for the daily (logistic) operational activities such as production progress, start
plan, capacity calculations, reports, clip and cycle time. The production control group consisted
out of 4 colleagues who helped me with this task.
