Intuit Contact Centre is run by thousands of customer care agents and supervisors. To serve the
customers in more effective and efficient manner, all the interaction (chat, call) statistics has to be
maintained, monitored and acted upon regularly and interactively. Third party vendor, ININ is
responsible for providing this interaction statistics by exposing its services (ICWS) to Intuit.
The responsibility of Interaction Center Services is to consume the
services of ININ persistently in batches and display the latest statistics (workgroup, agent) in auto
refreshing web gui. The web gui also gives option for monitoring chat interaction, join ongoing
calls, generating reports, activation and deactivation of agents and workgroups into ININ. All the
statistics data, frequently (5 sec) and repetitively being subscribed from ININ is stored into Redis
(in memory DB) and the web gui refreshes itself regularly to sync itself with the up-to-the-second
Redis data. Our solution not only serves the purpose of supervising the agent interactions
interactively, but also ensures high availability and reliability.
