Senior Business Analyst Enbridge Gas Distribution (2014)
• Consulted with department leads using MS Access applications to identify any
required improvements and analysed results
• Analysed existing processes of 28 applications and formatted the results into a
Requirements Document for each, identifying them as obsolete, to be converted from
Office 2003 to 2007 or a new software rewrite
Senior Business Analyst – Business Apps. New Horizon System Solutions (2011-2013)
• Analyzed the data flow of the Outage Metrics Enterprise program for Pickering A &
B and Darlington nuclear power plants, creating a Visio diagram and wrote a new
Requirements Document. I rewrote and structured portions of the program, improving
daily run time from 7 hours to 2 hours with significant improvement in reliability.
• Consulted with the OPG (Pickering) Outage Managers weekly to gather requirements
and improve intranet reporting from the Outage Metrics program reducing service
calls by 50%.
• Analyzed application software used by Pickering A & B and Darlington nuclear

Lead Business Analyst – IT Tech. Services Enbridge Gas Distribution (2008-2010)
• Analysed and enhanced existing Risk Management Hedge Model application,
reducing the size from 26 interconnected Excel workbooks to 6, adding new
functionality and increasing performance by 150%.
• Designed a new internet exchange database for Risk Management Hedge Model
containing the Nymex daily gas futures prices saving 1 hour / day data entry. Wrote
test plans and managed testing and sign-off (Regression & UAT using Mercury
Quality Centre).
• Converted existing office applications to Office 2003 (and Windows XP). Converted
VB3 app Pipe Pro to VB6 (performed UAT and received sign-off). Created an Access
application to log and report status of progress
• Created an Access application on a laptop, to record office equipment via wireless
barcode reader and load the data to SQL Server (Wi-Fi)
• Created an application (Visual Basic 6) producing automated summary and detailed
computer hardware and software data from Radia System Explorer and SQL Server
(ePO, Rim and Rum). This application was used by management to produce
automated printed Access Reports, Excel workbooks and pivot tables, providing
usage data of managed computer hardware and software assets.

Hedge application for migration to Calgary Openlink Financial software. Plan and
document testing strategy and approach for the new Openlink system (Regression &
UAT using Mercury Quality Centre) Data source testing and approval documentation.

• I was the Lead MS Access and Visual Basic 6 developer, creating support programs
for Telephone Banking. Implemented the application security & documented the
proper security procedures for the on-line system.
