Debbie Kizer has over 25 years of experience as an advocate for artists with disabilities. She founded Imagine Art in 1997 to promote inclusion and community for disabled artists. As Executive Director, she provides services like business development, advocacy, planning and leadership training. Previously, Kizer worked as an employment specialist helping organizations provide jobs for people with disabilities. She also has experience in rehabilitation and facilitating transitions to community-based care. Kizer remains actively involved as a visual artist, holding residencies and creating public art installations. Her expertise includes community development, employment supports, and systems advocacy focused on inclusion.
