PROFILE
I am a very motivated, self-starter with great organizational skills. Over the last 13 years,
I have primarily worked in the accounting. More recently, I have spent the last year and
a half working in Human Resources. I have a passion for working in fast paced business
environments and consider myself to be a task-driven professional.
WORK EXPERIENCE
Deluxe Building Systems Inc 2002-2015
Human Resources Manager, Duties included hiring of all plant workers, reporting of
OSHA reportable injuries, enrolling eligible employees on insurance program,
negotiating union contract, managed safety committee and safety program, reported all
workers compensation claims, completed all unemployment paperwork, tracked all
performance appraisals and rate increases for plant employees.
System Administrator, Duties included upkeep and reliable operation of five servers and
43 desktop workstations. Maintained nightly backup of all data and managed file
systems. Installed and configured new hardware and software. Answered questions and
assisted new and existing users. Added, removed and/or updated user accounts. Managed
phone system and handled all cell phone setup for outside sales staff.
Cost Accountant, Duties included Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and tracking
all site budgets. Assisted with monthly close of multiple companies. Prepare d general
ledger entries. Also help with payroll processing of employee hours and preparation of
quarterly reports.
Transportation Coordinator, Duties included shipping of all modular units to job site.
Sought out quotes of transportation companies to deliver units to job sites. Kept job site
budgets updated and maintained transportation costs in line with budget.
**Reason for leaving - Company-wide layoff.
TRACO Skytech Systems, Inc. 1997-2002
Executive Assistant, Duties included assistant to the President and Human Resource
Manager. Assisted with all communication for Sales and Engineering departments.
Responsible for safety program for plant employees.
**Reason for leaving - Company relocated to Tennessee.

Accounting Coordinator, Duties included performing all accounting functions for non
for profit organization. Worked with local United Way agencies for funding. Assisted
with scout store and organizing all council functions. Managed all event budgets and co-
chaired the annual popcorn program for three years.
**Reason for leaving - better job opportunity.
Western Sizzlin Steakhouse 1989-1996
Front of House Manager, Duties included coordination of all activities in the dining
area. Training of all wait staff and counter help. Maintained inventory and assisted with
end of day close of restaurant. Also assisted with payroll preparation every Monday
morning.
Reason for leaving – Took job working Monday thru Friday 8 am to 5 pm.
