OBJECTIVE
To obtain a position relative to my degree of Kinesiology but not limited to.
SUMMARY OF QUALIFICATIONS
 Courses/projects in exercise physiology and human anatomy have given me the knowledge of how the
body works and how to help people who are striving to make change to their bodies
 Possess experience as captain of several high schoolsports teams and club teams and I am currently a big
leader in my department at HEB. In charge when my manager is out, suggest ideas to him even when he is
there so I can influence some of the ideas of how the department works.
 Experience working physically demanding roles, physically stay fit and take safety precautions when lifting
objects.Remain aware of my surroundings, maintaining clean/safe area, gained people/teamwork skills.
 Experience in making display signs on word and power point, blow up multiple coupons on Photoshop for
display, create schedules for HEB Partners on excel.

Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology, emphasis in Exercise Science GPA: 3.5 overall
EXPERIENCE
Wellness Coach at the WellnessCoalition ofSan Antonio August 2016 to December 2016
 Senior Internship
 Coach participants in a 12 week program at different companies on healthy choices.
 Organize weekends or days available to educate and be active with participants.
 Create data charts on excel spreadsheet of participants weight, BMI and fitness times.
Texas Backyard Associate – HEB PLUS February 2013 to Present
 Have a positive attitude to greet customers; Work with a sense ofurgency to get things done.
 Make sure people are not doing anything that may injure them and are lifting properly.
 Ensure that the department is safe environment for customers and employees.
 Maintain our department employees safe from overheating when working outside by providing water and
extra carbohydrates like Gatorade in the heat of the summer.
 Increased traffic thru the department to increase our contribution to the store thru increased sales.
 Increased communication skills working at a retail store where the customer is our top priority with
exceptions to running a business.
 Organized many displays to gravitate the customer eye and even employee eyes.
 Organized simple workouts for our employees to do when at home to stay in shape to be able to lift
heavier objects with a decreased chance of getting injured due to sprain or a strain.
RELATED ACADEMIC PROJECTS
EXERCISE PHYSIOLOGY- A study ofthe adaptation and effects of the body to physiological stress.Emphasis
will be placed on the physiology of training, metabolism and work capacity, and electrocardiography
FITNESS PROGRAMING AND EXERCISE PRESCRIPTION - A study and application of principles and
concepts related to designing exercise programs. The target population includes apparently healthy adults and
individuals with special considerations,including cardiovascular disease,pulmonary disease, obesity,diabetes,
pregnancy and children
EXERCISE NUTRITION – Studied the basic concepts ofnutrition from a scientific basis, applying these
concepts to understanding offood nutritional labeling, dietary recommendations for health and fitness, as well as
exercise or sport performance enhancement.
GRADED EXERCISE - This course includes laboratory and clinical measurements of aerobic capacity, balance,
body composition, electrocardiography, flexibility, muscular endurance, muscular strength,and pulmon ary function.
Students are required to demonstrate competence in administering health related physical fitness.
FIRST AID AND INJURY MANAGEMENT -Study ofbasic first aid procedures, cardiopulmonary
resuscitation (CPR), automated external defibrillation (AED), and blood borne pathogens
