I have been in sales and marketing management for the past 25 years and a member of executive management for
the past 20 years. During those years of service, I have had the opportunity to lead many initiatives and build a
base of knowledge, experience and transferrable skills that enable me to be an asset to any organization.
Strategic Planning – Was integral in building the long term vision and strategic plan for the Findlay Publishing
Company. Was responsible for FPC’s digital growth beginning in 1996 with the inception of thecourier.com and
continuing into paywall’s, apps, social media, digital display advertising and more. Responsible for transitioning
Courier Commercial Printing into the current Allegra Print and Marketing franchise. Did the analysis and made
recommendation to move Review Times from afternoon to morning to take advantage of corporate synergies.
Acquisition – Was on the acquisition team when Findlay Publishing Company purchased radio stations in south-
central Indiana and was integral in purchase of the Review Times in Fostoria, Ohio and subsequent building of the
Review Times new offices. Directed purchase of Allegra Print and Marketing franchise.
Financial Analysis – Established cost basis for electric thermal storage furnaces at Fostoria Industries. Established
new costing protocols for The Courier in order to evaluate pricing strategies for both circulation and advertising.
Established cost and pricing strategies for Allegra Print and Marketing.
Market Research and Planning – Have developed marketing plans for several organizations throughout northwest
Ohio, and have conducted research studies for The Courier, Review Times, WFIN/WKXA/The Fox, the Community
Development Foundation, a group of local telco’s, a mental health network in northwest Ohio (internal), RCM
Architects, and Fostoria Industries.
Sales and Management – I have sold advertising, commercial printing, electric thermal storage heating/infrared
process heating, jewelry and marketing services directly. I was sales manager responsible for channel
management of products being sold through manufacture’s representatives to distributors to dealers to consumer.
Also direct sales to utilities in Ohio, Kentucky, Pennsylvania, and New York.
Product Management – Was product manager for Fostoria Industries Food Equipment Division. As such was
responsible for development of a table top broiler for commercial food industry – including working very closely
with engineering and consulting to get the unit passed through AGA Certification.
