Developed Projects
1.Project Optimum structures of proposed new cascaded multilevel
inverter with reduced number of components
Operating system Windows XP, Windows 7
Environment MATLAB/ Simulink& Simpower System
Role Team player/Model developer
Duration May 2015 – Aug 2015 (Four Months)
Brief description of the project:
Multi level inverter plays a vital role in recent Air Conditioner technology.
Multilevel inverters can generate a near sinusoidal output voltage. The quality of output
voltage depends on the number of voltage levels of inverter. A cascaded multilevel
inverter topology with reduced switching devices this is eliminates the switching losses.
The sub multilevel inverter can be operated in Asymmetric connection (31 level
using different voltage source for each sub multilevel inverter). The amplitude of the
output waveform is depended on the sources. Used fixed point tool box and Sim power
system toolboxes for modeling the converter system.
Responsibilities:
• Involved in Analysis, Design, Development, Review, Testing and implementing
new models.
• Involved in requirement gathering and document analysis for converter.
• Analyzed different types of Pulse Width Modulation Techniques.
• Used toolboxes such as simulink, simpowersystem.
.
2.Project Fuzzy logic controller for the maximum power point tracking
in photovoltaic system
Operating system Windows XP, Windows 7.
Environment MATLAB/ Simulink& Simpower System
Role Team player/Model developer
Duration Sep 2015 – Dec 2015 (Four Months)
2 of 4
3. Brief description of the project:
Photovoltaic’s panels are generated a DC power, but it is not at all maximum for
particular irradiation level. So many powers wasted as unused energy. Fuzzy logic based
Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) algorithm is developed for extract maximum
power from solar plant at all irradiation level. FLC is faster and efficient system compare
than other techniques proposed before.
Responsibilities:
• Involved in Analysis, Design, Development, Review, Testing and implementing
new models.
• Involved in requirement gathering and document analysis for converter.
• Involved at implementing new algorithm for Maximum Power Point Tracking
(MPPT).
• Used toolboxes such as simulink, simpowersystem and Fuzzy logic system.
3.Project A Unity Power Factor Bridgeless Isolated-Cuk Converter Fed
Brushless-DC Motor Drive
Operating system Windows XP, Windows 7.
Environment MATLAB/ Simulink& Simpower System
Role Team player/Model developer
Duration Jan 2016 – Till date
Brief description of the project:
Brushless Direct Current Motor torque ripple minimization and speed control can be done
in this project, using Hall Effect sensor sensing the rotor position based on this signals
direction is controlled and varying the converter duty cycle speed control is achieved by
the help of bridgeless isolated-cuk converter with unity power factor.
Responsibilities:
• Involved in Analysis, Design, Development, Review, Testing and implementing
new models.
• Involved in requirement gathering and document analysis for converter.
• Analyzed different types of Pulse Width Modulation Techniques.
• Study of various converter systems for BLDC Motor.
