PROJECTS
• Design and implementation of single phase matrix converter for cycoloconverter operation. (May 2015)
A matrix converter (ac-ac converter without dc link) was deigned and implemented for the cycloconverter operation
and the results of the same were verified using SIMULINK.
• Design and testing of buck converter for various operating frequencies and analyse its control circuit for
different output voltages. (Mar 2016)
Construction of buck converter and testing it for various input DC voltages and input frequencies for various loads
in order to determine its power and switching losses(across each component) and to observe and analyse the
operation of its control circuitry by varying its output voltages.
TECHNICAL EXPERIENCE
• Intern at Ennore Thermal Power Station,Chennai,Tamilnadu,India. (May 2014-June 2014)
Observed the operation of the Thermal Power Plant on a daily basis and technically analysed the working of various
power system components.Also,learnt about the processes involved in power transmission,to compute and minimize
the transmission losses.
