Michael W. Plum has over 14 years of progressively responsible experience in various professional positions with the City of El Paso, Texas. He currently serves as the Business & Contract Manager for the city's IT Department, where he manages licensing, maintenance, and support contracts. Prior to this role, he worked as an Assistant to the CFO in the City Manager's Office, providing support on finance, budget, HR, and purchasing issues. He also has experience supervising a team of procurement analysts and buyers as a supervisor in the City Purchasing Department. Plum holds a Master's in Public Administration and a Bachelor's in Anthropology, and is a Certified Public Purchasing Officer.
