Served as a key member of Mobile Testing team handling multiple projects in Banking Domain for Citi Bank
Client. Served the team in developing and implementing quality-assurance and quality-control methodologies to
ensure compliance with QA standards, federal regulations and customer specifications. Maintain cooperative

2. Domain : Banking and Financial Sector [BFS]
Over the past 3 years I have worked in TCS as a Software Tester for a Major International Bank’s Mobile
Applications and Desktop browser. Although my testing profile is more inclined to Manual testing, being part of a
huge team handling both Automation and Manual testing of the Clients all Mobile and Desktop applications , I
have had the opportunity to work in both Manual and Automation testing [Manual – 2+ years and Automation –
~1 year]. I was mostly involved in testing Clients Mobile application and at times validated the Browser
application too.
Have tested mainly in Mobile devices [Android, Iphone, Ipad and Ipod] for Clients Native and html applications.
I have hands on experience with HP Quality center [10.0], HP ALM [12.0] and QTP. Currently undergoing
training on HP Load Runner.
Accomplishments
 Have been instrumental in delivering Citi’s prestigious project ‘CITI WALLET’ by serving as the Group
Lead leading a 4 member team of freshers while being a fresher myself
 Contributed to high quality product releases as a result of through testing that helped maintain Citi’s
ranking, maker share and customer satisfaction rating
 Pinpointed several previously undiscovered defects in Citi banking Application during Regression
Phase.
 Conducted formal and informal product design reviews throughout the software development lifecycle to
provide input on functional requirements, product designs, schedules and potential issues. Leveraged
developer background to communicate effectively with software design team, quickly gaining their
respect and becoming a valued, “go-to” team member on challenging test cases.
 Have worked closely with Business, Development and other stakeholders in identifying the root cause of
several issues thus helping to bring them to closure
 Documented software defects using bug tracking system [QC/ALM] and reported defects involving
program functionality, output, online screen and content to software developers.

KEY SKILLS AND STRENGTHS
 Ability to prioritize tasks – My career at TCS has given me ample opportunities to work as a delegate lead
which has helped me understand the needs and merits of prioritizing tasks. What to be tested, what to be
given less priority - which task to be automated,which to be tested manually – Which task to be taken up first
and what can be left to be done at the last etc
 Never shy away from asking questions – As a tester i have always taken the step to get all my doubts
clarified with Business, SME’s, Dev or Seniors inorder to understand the requirements clearly, study the
software under test, understand the architecture, understand the business behind the requirements, the reason
and fix for the bugs etc
 Think outside the box – I believe there are more than one solutions for the same problem. I have always tried
to to identify new ways or steps for testing scenarios instead of following the same steps that was followed
from the beginning.
 Do more than what is expected of – Instead of just executing scripts i have used my time to analyze the logs
and code to understand how the system works which has at times helped me suggest the cause of defect to
Dev

 Think from End User perspective – Always analyze the software from Customer perspective. Have at
multiple occasions addressed issues to BA that i felt wasn’t user friendly which were escalated and adresed at
