illness, hospitalization. grief, relational issues. economic issues etc.

Became Full time caregiver for my husband due to a rare form of Dementia. I
became involved in the Alzheimer’s association and FTD support group. Also
arranged for my husband to be in a neurological research program under the
care of Dr. Bruce Miller, a leader in his field of study.
Was invited to join the HOSPICE Team.

Served as a Master Teacher to train new teachers for teaching.
Awarded two Amgen scholarships for the School Science curriculum at Pierpont
Elementary. School and and again for science books to add to the J. Serra
School library.
Served on Report card committee to improve Kindergarten report card.
Served on curriculum committee to evaluate reading programs to be
implemented in the District.

for the Ventura Unified School district.

Even though I was over qualified I was awarded the position of preschool
teacher.
I was the first teacher hired and help the director prepare curriculum and develop
activities for the school. I was the substitute director in her absence.

Performance was outstanding as evidenced by several teacher’s request to
return to their classrooms.
