Provide first line supervision to various craft personnel at the locomotive shop, car shop,
and rail yard. Plan and oversee the process for repairing locomotives and freight cars in
the most efficient manner given my resources and man power. Respond to line of road
problems to devise and execute a plan to have repairs or other provisions made in order
to clear the mainline in a timely manner. Work alongside various departments in order to
have successful operations at the terminal, maintain the infrastructure, and respond to
unusual occurrences.

Quality Engineer Intern
Worked alongside Quality Engineers and Technicians to implement the Mititoyo U-Wave
system, an automated data acquisition system, for the machining and assembly lines.
This system increased production by increasing the operators’ efficiency. Assisted in the
process of inline inspections and receiving inspections. Was certified in Geometric
Dimensioning and Tolerancing and introduced to Coordinate Measuring Machine
programming.

Project Engineer Intern
Worked with Project Managers and Project Engineers to manage the construction of
the hospital and Superintendents on quality control and assurance in the field.
Designed layouts for slab depressions in AutoCAD. Layouts were used as working
drawings by field engineers. Reviewed submittals and drawings from subcontractors
and architect.
