A survey was conducted among 24 students at Mellomhagen Ungdomsskole in Norway about their household energy usage and conservation habits. The majority reported having insulated walls at home and using energy-saving light bulbs sometimes. Most families sometimes adjust their thermostat higher than 22 degrees in winter and look at energy labels when buying appliances. Students engage in various energy conservation behaviors and their top suggestions for individuals to contribute to conservation included turning off lights, TVs and other devices when not in use.
