The document discusses the concept of "Shalom" or peace in the Bible. It begins by summarizing passages about chaos and destruction in Genesis. It then explains that Shalom is not just a noun but also a verb, meaning to make restitution and destroy anarchy. The document urges living in "active Shalom" by doing good, living peaceably with others, and allowing God to crush Satan and the forces of chaos under our feet as we spread the gospel of peace.

Ten traits of the new man from Ephesian chapter 4. Tell the truth, don't be sinfully angry, don't give the devil ground in your life, be a hard worker not a taker, be a giver, speak words of edification and grace, don't grieve the Holy Spirit, keep away from bitterness and it's poisonous cousins, be kind and tender, be a good forgiver.

The written HOLY ORACLES of the LORD JEHOVAH YAHWEH. The Mighty visitation with John the Baptist providing the prophetic timeline of GOD towards the Coming of the MESSIAH by the TWO Witnesses of Revelation 11.
When we become Christ followers the old man is destroyed and the new man begins to emerge. In Ephesians 4:22-32 Paul describes this new nature: no lying, no sinful anger, no stealing, no corrupt words, no grieving the Holy Spirit, no bitterness and wrath but rather a kindness toward one another. Is the New Man showing in you?

What does "having your feet shod with the gospel of peace" mean? How does a Christian prepare their feet? Why is comparing the armor of God to the Roman soldier inappropriate? To what is this metaphor more likely referring?
What is prayer? How can we fulfill the command to "pray always"? What is praying "in the Spirit"? Are there different kinds of prayer? Is it possible to be a true disciple of Jesus Christ without prayer?
We’re Wrestling Who? - Ephesians 6:10-13David Turner
Our battles are not against flesh and blood. Our battles are against Principalities and Powers. These adversaries are much bigger than us and cannot be defeated by our own strength. In Ephesians 6:10-13 Paul identifies who we are really wrestling with and follows up with advice on how to compete to gain victory. For this and other PowerPoint Presentations go to www.Bibleguy.org.
“The Peace of God" - [Philippians 4:6-13] - Who does not desires to have peace? This world can be a cruel, harsh, troublesome place - a place of worry, anxiety, Stress, fear and terror . . . WE ALL WANT PEACE - - BUT - most are searching for it in all the wrong places and all the wrong ways. This study examines what the peace of God is, (real, lasting peace), in contrast with the pseudo peace offered by the world & how we can find & have this true peace.
Why do you think the order of having on the armor of God begins with "the belt of truth," then "the breastplate of righteousness" and then "have shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace"? What does "having your feet shod" practically mean? What is "the gospel of peace"? How can you prepare yourself with the gospel of peace? How does the "gospel of peace" enable the believer to "withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand"?
Put On Righteousness - Ephesians 6:14bDavid Turner
We cannot clothe ourselves in our personal righteousness, because any righteousness we have in ourselves falls short of God's standard of righteousness. Instead, we must shield our hearts with the righteousness of Christ. We are declared righteous because of his righteousness, not because of anything in ourselves. Isaiah 9:6-7 Jesus would be called or know as the Prince of Peace. He brings peace through salvation. He brings peace through the Spirit. He brings peace through the scriptures. He brings peace through service. He brings peace through our following His guidance. He brings peace through being in Him. He brings peace through our being spiritually minded. He brings peace through answering our prayers. He brings peace through His blood. He brings peace through our pursuit of peace. He brings peace through Knowledge. He brings peace through our being peacemakers.

Take Up The Sword of The Spirit - Ephesians 6:17bDavid Turner
A good soldier must know how to use his weapons. For the Romans it was a sword. For the Christian it is the Word of God. Download free PowerPoint presentations of Ephesians at BibleGuy.org
What is the Christian's "Breastplate of Righteousness" described in Ephesians 6? We are often told the believer's armor is to be compared to that of a Roman soldier. Is this accurate? In Jude 17-23 Jude shifts from piling up examples of false teachers from the Old Testament to a series of practical exhortations that flow from apostolic instruction. He preserves for us what may well have been part of the apostolic catechism for the first generation of Christ-followers. In these instructions Jude exhorts the believer to deal with 3 different groups of people: scoffers who are "devoid of the Spirit", believers who have come under the influence of scoffers and believers who are so entrenched in false teaching that they need rescue and pose some real spiritual risk for the rescuer. In all of this Jude emphasizes Jesus' call to rescue straying sheep, leaving the 99 safely behind and pursuing the 1.
Homily: The Solemnity of the Most Holy Trinity Sunday 2024.docxJames Knipper
Countless volumes have been written trying to explain the mystery of three persons in one true God, leaving us to resort to metaphors such as the three-leaf clover to try to comprehend the Divinity. Many of us grew up with the quintessential pyramidal Trinity structure of God at the top and Son and Spirit in opposite corners. But what if we looked at this ‘mystery’ from a different perspective? What if we shifted our language of God as a being towards the concept of God as love? What if we focused more on the relationship within the Trinity versus the persons of the Trinity? What if stopped looking at God as a noun…and instead considered God as a verb? Check it out…
2. Gen 1:1-2
1:1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. 2
Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over
the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering
over the waters. NIV
Tohu’ Va bowhuw
OT:8414 lie in waste,worthless, desolation,
confusion, empty place
OT:922 became formless, caused to be void,
empty undistinguishable ruin:
OT:2821 Destruction, death, sorrow, wickedness,
made dark, witholding light
3. Ezek 28:13
You were in Eden, the garden of God; every
precious stone adorned you:
Ezek 28:17
Your heart became proud on account of your
beauty, and you corrupted your wisdom because
of your splendor. So I threw you to the earth;
Isa 14:12
You have been cast down to the earth, you who once
laid low the nations!
4. Gen 3:14-15
14 So the LORD God said to the serpent, "Because
you have done this, "Cursed are you above all the
livestock and all the wild animals! You will crawl
on your belly and you will eat dust all the days of
your life. 15 And I will put enmity between you and
the woman, and between your offspring and hers;
he will crush your head, and you will strike his
heel. NIV
5. Luke 10:17-19
7 The seventy-two returned with joy and said, "Lord,
even the demons submit to us in your name.“ ……. 18
He replied, "I saw Satan fall like lightning from
heaven. 19 I have given you authority to trample on
snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power
of the enemy; nothing will harm you.
Rom 16:17-20
watch out for those who cause divisions and put
obstacles in your way that are contrary to the teaching
you have learned. Keep away from them. . . .
The God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet.
6. PEACE - NOUN
The GOD OF SHALOM WILL CRUSH SATAN
eirene (i-ray'-nay); New Testament Greek equivalent
of Old Testament Hebrew word:
• OT:7965 shalowm (shaw-lome'); safe, well,
happy, friendly; also (abstractly) welfare, i.e.
health, prosperity, peace, great, (good) health,
peace (-able, -ably), prosper (-ity, -ous), rest, safe
(-ty), welfare, (all is, be) well, wholly.
7. To DO Good . .. . .
WE MUST UNDERSTAND SHALOM AS VERB:
Peace, Peace: An action leading to the result
Shalom, Shalom: A verb, leading to the noun.
This is God’s direct response to Satan’s Destruction in the
beginning!
To “Do Shalom” Verb form: make restitution; make
recompense, requite, make good, cut away wrong,
“to destroy the anarchy around you that brings confusion,
anxiety, and disorder.
1 Cor 14:33 For God is not the author of confusion (disorder)
but of peace….. (in context of spiritual gifts - divisions)
8. 1 John 3:7-10
“The reason the Son of God appeared was to
destroy the devil's work”.
Joshua 1:3 “Everywhere your feet shall tread, I will
give to you!”
Isa 52:7 “How beautiful on the mountains are the
feet of those who bring good news, who proclaim
peace, who bring good tidings, who proclaim
salvation, who say to Zion, "Your God reigns!"
9. GOD OF PEACE will soon CRUSH satan…. ???
WE have AUTHORITY to Trample on Serpants
(anarchy, anxiety, rebellion, confusion, etc..)
HOW?
“You shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has
come upon you” (Acts 1:8).
“God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit
and with power, who went about doing good and
healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for
God was with Him” (Acts 10:38).
10. TRUE PEACE DESTROYS THE ANARCHY AROUND YOU
(the work of the devil) THAT BRINGS ANXIETY,
DISORDER, CONFUSION – WHEREVER YOUR FEET GO!
SHALOM IS THE PROCESS THAT BRINGS THE RESULT
OF COMPLETENESS, WHOLENESS, SOUNDNESS,
NOTHING MISSING, NOTHING BROKEN, PEACE
11. LIVING IN “ACTIVE SHALOM”
• Rom 12:14-19 (to the CHURCH)
14 Bless those who persecute you; bless and do
not curse. 15 Rejoice with those who rejoice;
mourn with those who mourn. 16 Live in
harmony with one another. Do not be proud,
but be willing to associate with people of low
position. Do not be conceited.
• 17 Do not repay anyone evil for evil. Be careful
to do what is right in the eyes of everybody.
18 If it is possible, as far as it depends on you,
live at peace [ peaceably] with everyone.
12. Eph 6:10-18 10 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty
power. 11 Put on the full armor of God so that you can take
your stand against the devil's schemes. 12 For our struggle is
not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the
authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against
the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. 13 Therefore
put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil
comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you
have done everything, to stand. 14 Stand firm then, with the
belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of
righteousness in place, 15 and with your feet fitted with the
readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. 16 In addition
to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can
extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. 17 Take the
helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the
word of God. 18 And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all
kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and
always keep on praying for all the saints.
13. In speaking and in action we should be BE
DOING: Shalom! “May the dark
circumstances around you be cut away,
destroyed”
LIVE PEACEABLY: in other words: As much as
you have the ability, Live in a way which
destroys anarchy, anxiety, confusion, division,
chaos
14. Luke 1:79 JESUS CAME
“to guide our feet into the path of peace.“
“GREATER IS HE THAT IS IN ME THAN HE THAT IS IN THE
CHAOS, ANARCHY, CONFUSION, AND ANXIETY IN THIS
ROOM!”
Matthew 5: Blessed are the PEACEMAKERS….
Matt 10:34-35
"Do not suppose that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I
did not come to bring peace, but a SWORD. (Judicial variance,
distinction between what is coming and what NOW exists)
John 14:27
7 Peace I leave with you; MY PEACE I give you. I do not give to
you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and
do not be afraid.
15.
16. Isa 26:3
You will keep in perfect peace
[Shalom] him whose mind is
steadfast, because he trusts in you.
