When we become Christ followers the old man is destroyed and the new man begins to emerge. In Ephesians 4:22-32 Paul describes this new nature: no lying, no sinful anger, no stealing, no corrupt words, no grieving the Holy Spirit, no bitterness and wrath but rather a kindness toward one another.
