Equal rights are given to both genders, so we should exercise them. <br />Realizing that laws were already passed to protect women not just in Denmark but in countries the most of developed countries.<br />Noting that even though there are existing laws, most of these are still not being followed. <br />Emphasizing that Denmark’s government should do more in upholding its laws in protecting the rights of women.<br />Keeping in mind that discrimination against women when it comes to equality in profession is one of the most important issues we should address.<br />Reaffirming that focus should be given to issues on gender equality in all areas.<br />Calls upon the Danish government, non governmental organizations and labor unions to give focus on issues concerning women rights.<br />Requests the strong implementation of women rights and the implementation of laws protecting women so that there would be equal opportunities in profession, salary and benefits.<br />Calls for the Danish government to punish offenders and those who don’t implement rules set by labor unions.<br />Further calls upon the government and leaders of labor unions to settle issues and problems concerning women by <br />1. Focusing on laws on violence against women. Certain laws exist to protect women against violence but sometimes they are not properly implemented. Serious punishment should be given to those who break the law and support to victims should be provided.<br />2. Giving importance to women and their profession. Men and women should be given equal opportunities in jobs they choose. Equal benefits and salary should be also be provided. <br />3. Ensuring that both men and women are given equal attention in the society.Women should be treated equally in social functions and when they run for office.<br />4. Passing more laws to protect women in all areas. <br />Agrees to remain actively seized of this matter.<br />
