Editor's Notes

  1. Welcome.
  2. Let’s just take 30 seconds to get comfy, and to be still, and to be silent. Let your breathing slow down. Give yourself the space to just BE before we begin.
  3. As entrepreneurs we want resilient businesses because “more out than in” can rapidly become a crisis in a volatile market.THE SAME IS TRUE FOR YOU! When did you last do an MOT on your personal resilience? In this essential seminar we’ll take a look at where you are now, and – more importantly – make sure you’re headed in the right direction on the energy scale: VIBRANT  COPING      STRESSED       BURNT OUT! We’ll take a look at the warning signs of someone heading into the red zone – physically, emotionally, spiritually or mentally. The earlier you spot the signs, the quicker you can take action! As you recognise what drains you and what sustains you, you’ll discover the value of planning to feel great long term, building in practical ways to recharge your battery day by day.
  4. Although we’ll look at some of these as separate exercises, you can’t create true balance without the other aspects, living on purpose requires that you be aware, and so on. We’ll be going back and forth between these elements during the talk.
  5. You can use this approach for breaking down anything! Do a few examples on the chart – add notes/symbols pound signs, clocks, hearts etc
  6. At the end, Ask about symptoms of burnout – put on chart if there’s time, otherwise go to next slide
  7. Do you turn into a cranky beast when you’re over tired? This is Kai, the Clouded Leopard. He has a very low tolerance for being disturbed! What signs of stress do you notice in other people or yourself?
  8. Notice signs of stress early so it’s easy to reverse – self-nurturing is healthy! Breathing exercise, squeeze and release.
  9. Use your purpose as a map and your values as a compass!
  10. Supportive connections you can trust and rely on are vital in business!
