GOALS:
The purpose of the course is introducing the student to the
world’s major
religions: Christianity, Judaism, Islam, Buddhism, Taoism,
Confucianism and the
“primal religions”.
Write a 3-5-page review of each to the following two movies:
Little Buddha,
Gandhi. Please do not just describe the plot of the movie. Try to
write about
the religious ideas that you have been learning about from the
Smith
textbook. You should be able to find these videos at a video
store such as
Hollywood Video.
