African lions live in prides and females typically breed every 1-2 years, helping raise cubs communally. Cubs are weaned at 6-7 months and begin hunting at 11 months. Dogs can breed anytime but females only mate when ready, and can get pregnant every 4-12 months after reaching puberty between 6-9 months for males and 8-18 months for females. Frogs reproduce during rainy seasons where males call females and amplexus occurs, with females laying 30-50 eggs over multiple days. Snails are hermaphrodites, exchanging sperm to fertilize each other's 100 eggs, which garden snails bury and hatch within 2-4 weeks.
