4. Openness and Honesty
Relationships that are open and honest are a big part of what sets Modern
Message apart. Being transparent with each keeps us on the same page and
allows us to accomplish much more than we would otherwise be able.
In any relationship, being a good listener and a good communicator is critical.
However, the focus should always be on listening rather than responding,
hearing instead of being heard.
As the company grows, communication is critical because everyone needs to
understand how their work connects to the big picture of what we're trying to
accomplish.

Working at a startup means embracing resource constraints. Therefore we
realize that in order to survive we need to continuously innovate and improve
our business processes, strive to make ourselves more efficient, and always
try to figure out how to do something better.

It's important to constantly challenge yourself and not be stuck in a job where
you don't feel like you are growing or learning.
We believe that inside every employee is more potential than even they
realize. Our mission is to unlock that potential.

In our personal lives, faith can mean many different things. At Modern
Message we will strive to create a safe environment for people of all faiths,
and respect the beliefs of all involved, holding no judgments.
For the leadership of Modern Message this also means our faith in Jesus Christ
and the Bible are a guiding light for daily decisions as a company, trusting
that our abilities and success come not from ourselves but from God.
