Start Learning Efficiently Now - Lean & Agile DC 2017Elliot Susel
Lean Startup methodologies have a reputation for being associated with technology projects, but their application goes far beyond software development. In this session, we’ll demonstrate how you can learn faster and save your company millions of dollars, all without writing a single line of code. No prior experience with Lean Startup is required.

Cosa abbiamo scoperto in questi 20 anni?

On this era of industrial changes, we all know that software is eating the world, and the world is small, or at least, not so big. So how to manage to make great technical choices on this era where giants apply the marketing of the Shame on us? In March 2020, the corona pandemic hit Norway, and the country went into lockdown. Suddenly, everyone wanted to get started with video calls.
The little startup Confrere, which made video calls for the healthcare industry, grew their customer base by 10 times in two weeks, and the number of calls by 100 in two weeks. Suddenly, the company had become de facto national infrastructure, as 96 percent of the video calls in the Norwegian healthcare sector went through their platform. How was that even possible? A lot of it was because of content.
In this session, you’ll learn how:
* The core model helps craft content that is relevant for customers, even when context shifts vastly.
* User research, sales, and customer service can work together to create content that answers users’ questions while being aligned on goals.
* Focusing on localization from day one can prepare you for growth.
* Sometimes it’s okay to leave some questions to a bot, rather than a human.

Achieving Success in an Interdisciplinary TeamLeah Henrickson
Working in a team is hard. Everyone comes with their own experience, expertise, and opinions. How is anything supposed to get done?
We've spent three years working together to build a startup from scratch. Together, we identified three of the most important lessons we've learned about interdisciplinary teamwork.
1. Identify your shared vision and values.
2. Practise open communication.
3. Make - and stick to - clear plans.
However, we've all taken different things away from these lessons. That's why each of the following lessons is accompanied by our own individual elaborations.
Our different perspectives make us a stronger team.

Implicitly or explicitly all competing businesses employ a strategy to select a mix
of marketing resources. Formulating such competitive strategies fundamentally
involves recognizing relationships between elements of the marketing mix (e.g.,
price and product quality), as well as assessing competitive and market conditions
(i.e., industry structure in the language of economics).

Understanding User Needs and Satisfying ThemAggregage
https://www.productmanagementtoday.com/frs/26903918/understanding-user-needs-and-satisfying-them
We know we want to create products which our customers find to be valuable. Whether we label it as customer-centric or product-led depends on how long we've been doing product management. There are three challenges we face when doing this. The obvious challenge is figuring out what our users need; the non-obvious challenges are in creating a shared understanding of those needs and in sensing if what we're doing is meeting those needs.
In this webinar, we won't focus on the research methods for discovering user-needs. We will focus on synthesis of the needs we discover, communication and alignment tools, and how we operationalize addressing those needs.
Industry expert Scott Sehlhorst will:
• Introduce a taxonomy for user goals with real world examples
• Present the Onion Diagram, a tool for contextualizing task-level goals
• Illustrate how customer journey maps capture activity-level and task-level goals
• Demonstrate the best approach to selection and prioritization of user-goals to address
• Highlight the crucial benchmarks, observable changes, in ensuring fulfillment of customer needs
