Rembrandt Harmenszoon van Rijn was born in Leiden, Netherlands
on July 15, 1606. He was a painter that specialized in portraits and
history paintings during the Dutch Golden Age and the Baroque Age in
Europe. He died on October 4, 1669 in Amsterdam, Netherlands.
