2. INTRODUCTION
AMUL INDUSTRIES PVT. LTD. is one of the leading
manufacturers of Connecting Rods, Crank Shafts,
Cam Shafts, Cylinder Block, Cylinder Head as well as
various Auto parts for Automotive & Internal
Combustion Engine application for about decade.
AMUL is a powerful combination of Tradition, Ethos
and Experience. Today, they are smarter, faster and
stronger than ever and determined to become more
so. AMUL is a leading global manufacture of
automotive components serving almost every major
vehicle manufacturer worldwide. Headquartered in
Rajkot, Gujarat- INDIA, has state-of-the-art
manufacturing units at various locations in India with
teamwork of 2000 plus.
3. HISTORY OF THE COMPANY
“AMUL” was started in 1988 as Small Sector Industry
(SSI) with 5 lakes investment, today it manufactures
175 types of connecting rods and one of the biggest
connecting rods manufactures in India.
Its export reaches at 35% at out of country. There is
no competitor of “AMUL Industries” so in one
sentence the presence of the company from begins
to entry of foreign companies, one of the Maruti
Udhyog and other development in auto ancillary field
in India.
4. CUSTOMERS
Today their list of customers includes almost all automobile giants in India
including Tata Motors, Ashok Leyland, New Holland Tractors Ltd., Mahindra &
Mahindra, Eicher, Swaraj Engines, Greaves, Simpson & Co., Same Deutz and
also customers from other areas like Generators, Compressors & Diesel
Engines. Cummins India Ltd., Ingersoll Rand, Kirloskar Engines, Voltas,
Tecumseh Products (I) Ltd. to name some of them.

5. HUMAN RESOURCE AUDIT
Introduction:-
Human Resource Audit ( HRA ) is used for business improvement. To
understand HR Audit well it is become necessary to understand what is “audit” in
business.
“Auditing, which is a part of the control function, may be defined as the
examination and evolution of policies, procedures and practices in all phases of
a business to achieve the most effective administration of the organization.”
Definition:-
“Human Resources Audit is a systematic assessment of the strengths,
limitations, and developmental needs of its existing human resources in
the context of original performance”
6. OBJECTIVE OF STUDY
The objectives of the study are
To inquire about level of implementation of various
human resource management functions in the
industry.
To help the employees by strengthening various HR
Functions after findings wherever required to do so.
To know about human resource auditing process of
the organization.
7. SAMPLE SELECTION:
Here are 500 employees in the research
area but due to time limitation and cost factor
the sample of 50 (10%) respondents have
been taken for this study the sample is
selected by random sampling method

11. FINDINGS
All the employees of the organization are know about the goal
mission, vision and HR Policy of the organization.
The organization has good work ethics and welfare activities.
The company has good performance appraisal system and good
performance is suitably rewarded.
The company has good communication system and HR Policies are
communication through proper channel.
The company has good work environment and every on in the
organization are clear about their job responsibilities.
The company has good recruitment and selection and employee
retention system.
The company provides various training and active for development of
the employees.
12. CONCLUSION
A was stated earlier human resource audit is an wide as the field of human resource management. The
performance of people is a complex outcome arising out of their interest, qualifications, commitment and
expectation on the one hand and employment environment including working assignments, working
conditions, supervision, leadership, opportunities and challenges on the other.
The human resource audit process large area of human resource in a way it covers core HR function
entirely. Here in this dissertation work on human resource audit we covers below given areas such as
Company’s / HR Department’s Mission, Vision and Goal.
Work ethics in human resource management practices.
Performance appraisal and reward management.
Organization Communication.
Work Environment.
Recruitment and Selection.
Employees Retention.
Integration and Support.
Training and Development.
As Amul Industries Pvt. Ltd., is well established their HR function are well established too. There is good
recruitment policy, training and development programs retention policy, work
environment, communication system and performance appraisal system.
