Jira & Ansible: Streamlining Jira Server Administration for the EnterpriseAtlassian
In 2017, Yelp had over 40 Jira administrators. Their environment had hundreds of orphaned workflows, screens, and schemes with very little oversight into who was doing what with their Jira Server instance.
Their team turned to Ansible to empower Yelp's engineers to create and archive projects, update categories, project leads, keys, and archive projects without having access to administrative rights and sensitive functions. Learn how they secured and simplified their environment, reduced turnaround time for Jira requests, and made their lives as admins much easier (and how you can, too!)

Come and learn from our journey as we share the playbook that helped us successfully implement and adopt DevOps as well as the lessons we learned the hard way.
By Ballu Singh, Solutions Architect AWS
The AWS Well-Architected framework was developed to help cloud architects build the most secure, high-performing, resilient, and efficient infrastructure possible for their applications. Composed of 5 pillars – operational excellence, security, reliability, performance efficiency, and cost optimization – this framework provides a consistent approach to evaluate architectures, and provides guidance to help implement designs that will scale with your application needs over time.
This workshop teaches you how to put that framework into practice. You’ll learn strategies for building stable and efficient systems. Then you’ll apply that knowledge through a series of team exercises, comparing a sample architecture against our best practices, and assessing how Well-Architected it is against each pillar.
Continuously Delivering Your Software on AWS - Adrian White - AWS TechShift A...Amazon Web Services
There are a number of different patterns for building CI/CD piplines for your software on AWS. In this session we will explore best practices for managing Continuous Delivery in real-world environments and provide you with options for how to select the best patterns for your software platforms.
Agile Test Management Using Jira and ZephyrXBOSoft
Do you have traceability where you can efficiently determine the cause of defects if there was an unclear requirement? Are you sure your test cases cover your requirements? Can you easily execute targeted regression when you’ve updated your software’s functionality? Now with software development teams mostly working from home or in dispersed geographies, supporting effective collaboration between remote workers is critical. In this XBOSoft quarterly webinar, our CEO, Philip Lew, teams up with BDQ’s CEO Chris Bland, to discuss the problems with working remotely, integrating the phases of testing in development in an Agile, and how this can be done using Zephyr, one of the predominant plugins in the Atlassian marketplace for test management. In this webinar, you will learn how to:
--Link tests with user stories and group tests within test cycles.
--Tie your results (defects) all the way back to user stories for effective defect root cause analysis.
--Classify defects to analyze and prioritize your test efforts.
--Use the traceability matrix with Zephr for deep visibility into your Agile process.
The Future of API Management Is ServerlessChris Munns
Gone are the days of needing to manage servers for running your API based applications, of needing to think about capacity management and the gamble of provisioning too much or too little infrastructure. By leveraging serverless API management services, you can easily build and deploy traditional REST and GraphQL based APIs without the need for provisioning or managing any servers or infrastructure. I’ll share how AWS customers are running secure APIs with high availability and automated scaling, all while significantly reducing their operational overhead, and how you can do the same.
Learn about how Amazon enables its developers to rapidly release and iterate software while maintaining industry-leading standards on security, reliability, and performance. In this talk, we will discuss the culture of two pizza teams and how to maintain a culture of DevOps in a large enterprise.
