Knowledge Extraction
This paper describes BABAR, a knowledge extraction and representation system, completely implemented in CLOS, that is primarily geared towards organizing and reasoning about knowledge extracted from the Wikipedia Website. The system combines natural language processing techniques, knowledge representation paradigms and machine learning algorithms. BABAR is currently an ongoing independent research project that when sufficiently mature, may provide various commercial opportunities.
BABAR uses natural language processing to parse both page name and page contents. It automatically generates Wikipedia topic taxonomies thus providing a model for organizing the approximately 4,000,000 existing Wikipedia pages. It uses similarity metrics to establish concept relevancy and clustering algorithms to group topics based on semantic relevancy. Novel algorithms are presented that combine approaches from the areas of machine learning and recommender systems. The system also generates a knowledge hypergraph which will ultimately be used in conjunction with an automated reasoner to answer questions about particular topics.
Executable specifications for xtext

Dual Embedding Space Model (DESM)
A fundamental goal of search engines is to identify, given a query, documents that have relevant text. This is intrinsically difficult because the query and the document may use different vocabulary, or the document may contain query words without being relevant. We investigate neural word embeddings as a source of evidence in document ranking. We train a word2vec embedding model on a large unlabelled query corpus, but in contrast to how the model is commonly used, we retain both the input and the output projections, allowing us to leverage both the embedding spaces to derive richer distributional relationships. During ranking we map the query words into the input space and the document words into the output space, and compute a query-document relevance score by aggregating the cosine similarities across all the query-document word pairs.
We postulate that the proposed Dual Embedding Space Model (DESM) captures evidence on whether a document is about a query term in addition to what is modelled by traditional term-frequency based approaches. Our experiments show that the DESM can re-rank top documents returned by a commercial Web search engine, like Bing, better than a term-matching based signal like TF-IDF. However, when ranking a larger set of candidate documents, we find the embeddings-based approach is prone to false positives, retrieving documents that are only loosely related to the query. We demonstrate that this problem can be solved effectively by ranking based on a linear mixture of the DESM and the word counting features.

Reference Scope Identification in Citing Sentences
This document describes an approach to identify the scope of references in sentences containing multiple citations. The approach uses a conditional random field (CRF) sequence model with features including distance, position, part-of-speech tags, and syntactic dependencies. It first segments sentences using punctuation and conjunctions, then applies the CRF and a majority voting scheme to label each word as inside or outside the scope. The method achieved over 90% accuracy on a dataset of citations from ACL papers.

Reference Scope Identification in Citing Sentences
This document describes an approach to identify the scope of references in sentences containing multiple citations. The approach uses a conditional random field (CRF) sequence model with features including distance, position, part-of-speech tags, and syntactic dependencies. It first segments sentences using punctuation and conjunctions, then applies the CRF and a majority voting scheme to label each word as inside or outside the scope. The method achieved over 90% accuracy on a dataset of citations from ACL papers.

How to use hiatus
Hiatus is a localization QA tool similar to xBench. It can check files for glossary errors, style inconsistencies, skipped or missing translations, numbers, tags and more. To use hiatus, you need to install Ruby 1.9.2 or higher, several Ruby gems, and optionally Microsoft Office. You then configure a config.yaml file to specify the files and checks to run, and run hiatus.rb to generate an output report. Hiatus supports various bilingual file formats and allows configuring glossary and monolingual files with options like case sensitivity and regular expressions.

keys, and their frequencies are the values. The output of the program is the complete list of all
the words and their frequencies in descending order of frequencies when two words have the
same frequency, output them by alphabetical order. Each line of output consists of a word, a tab,
and the frequency. A sample input is \"The Tragedy of Hamlet, Prince of Denmark\", in the file
Hamlet When processing the text, you should keep just the words, and discard all punctuation
marks, digits, and so on. You also need to turn all upper case letters to lower cases.
Solution
Your code is fine except for apostrophe was also being replacced by space because you were
replaceing everything other than alphabets with space. I put apostrophe in exclusion list and then
processed that seperately. Check the code below

Graspan: A Big Data System for Big Code Analysis
We built a disk-based parallel graph system, Graspan, that uses a novel edge-pair centric computation model to compute dynamic transitive closures on very large program graphs.
We implement context-sensitive pointer/alias and dataflow analyses on Graspan. An evaluation of these analyses on large codebases such as Linux shows that their Graspan implementations scale to millions of lines of code and are much simpler than their original implementations.
These analyses were used to augment the existing checkers; these augmented checkers found 132 new NULL pointer bugs and 1308 unnecessary NULL tests in Linux 4.4.0-rc5, PostgreSQL 8.3.9, and Apache httpd 2.2.18.
