Refund Credit Notes (RCNs) offered against ATOL protected bookings cancelled due to the Covid-19 pandemic between March 10 and December 31, 2020 are financially protected. Consumers have three options for cancelled ATOL bookings - a full refund, rebooking to a future date, or receiving an ATOL protected RCN. RCNs must be redeemed for cash or a new booking by September 30, 2021 and include key details such as the original booking reference and lead passenger name. ATOL holders issuing RCNs should provide an example to the CAA.
